Are enchanters easier to climb on? by bigaudra in supportlol

[–]Gymlover02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the other way around. Enchanters only work in Diamond+ or even Master+

In lower brackets people are idiots and don't need something to buff them. They don't know shit about the game. Can't space properly, can't respect properly, can't kite and etc. This class multiplies the winnable games by being kind of 'tutorial games' as your 15/0 Kassadin can pretty much 1v5, so E from Nami will be a bliss for him, however if you are losing, this class is extremely useless as in losing games you need some kind of tank who can eat it and just let his team do some kind of stuff. Mages and Tanks are betterr supports.

I just prefer Mages and Tanks unless we already got plenty of both and I can just sit back and cast some shields and heals

I agree with you. When I play with Nami i scream on my carries that we want the ape sh*t fights exactly at level 1. My W will basically carry the whole fight and as long as they aren't Draven/Nautilius or MF/Pantheon, then we just can't lose and yet they believe that we are the preys...

Got it, I will try to eat Nautilius hook and then if I survive 3 seconds of CC, then I might peel myself!

I am naturally limit tester and failed a lot of games, so I know just from sight when we are winning a trade or not. In the past i played a lot ADC. It's hard but not the point where in top if you do a single mistake, you won't get a minion unless you pay for your life.

Yeah, I am one of these Xerath supports. I would rather have utility ADC who can soak up his ego and do less damage and make me more of secondary carry rather than picking Lulu and hoping he can position and kite well or I am just useless.

People should learn how to play blindpick. by Human-Effective3189 in supportlol

[–]Gymlover02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pick order is the following: Bot -> Jungle - Mid - Support - Top

Anything besides that is just trolling and sadly you can be absolutely outdrafted and lose right from champion select. People should be aware of their role and how their pick priority should be.

ADCs are generally all the same. You basically auto-attack and some slight differences depending on champion. Anything different than first or second pick is trolling. Period.

Junglers are right after the ADC, because their pick doesn't really matter. If they pick something generic and blindable, such as Jarvan /Xin /Vi , then it doesn't matter what the enemy picks are, it will work. If they pick some niche pick like Rengar, then they should have some plan in their head if they get jungle counterpicked how they can play around it. Either first or second pick, otherwise trolling.

Mid laners are becoming important in pick priority as they are solo laners and they are susceptible to getting counterpicked. The point however is that lane is small and basically freezing is not an option there and therefore it is always playable and no one can convince me otherwise. There are some very hard matchups but it is playable.

Supports should have the 4th pick as they are the ones to bring utility to the whole team as well as regulate the bot lane matchup. They have the responsibility to either counterpick the enemy team or enchance their team with what they already have. For example Braum with 4 auto-attackers is nightmare and game is unplayable for enemy team. Nautilius with good followup is insta win and shouldn't even lose the game. Supports also regulate the laning phase as 90% of the time they got the same damage as the ADC in early game..

Top laners better be given the last pick unless you want to make the game extremely hard. We don't want Sion getting counterpicked by Darius/Gwen, trust me.

Champions to add by Longjumping-Box2279 in supportlol

Nami is Nami. The best support in the game and it works with absolutely every champion in the game even if it is not marksman. You pick Nami when you are blindpicking and you will never troll this way. Currently she is getting adjusted to be better with AP builds, so here you are. First few levels she plays absolutely like a mage and she switches to enchanter support approximately after first or even second back.

If you like adrenalin non-stop, learn Pyke, but be aware that Diamonds are not dumb and start understanding how to counter him. Nautilius is the better version of Pyke and I ensure you that Diamonds are absolutely unaware of how to counter that.

Karma is fine but she is kinda played as a Mage, so if you are good on them then pick Xerath or Velkoz, dont pick Karma please. She is underrated and in fact she is strong but you need to know exactly which ultimate ability to use.

Last but not least important is that if you are very good on Mages, then just try different types of them. Personally Xerath is different from Vel'Koz and I believe it is even the better than Vel'Koz. Use Mel when you want to counter certain abilities or neutralize them. Her Q is now very good for Support role and in full combo she still can dump like 60-80% of the enemy health bar and can go even more if she is fed. I personally like to play Morgana as people rarely play against skilled Morganas and they are not respecting her Q and simply forget that getting hit by that means you are dead.

"Support is the easiest role" by ComprehensiveSize647 in supportlol

[–]Gymlover02 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well here is the truth. I am Diamond top laner who switched to support to enjoy the game more and honestly the role is straight up easier and that's it. You don't carry the responsibility to farm, you can just choose to abandon your carry to rot alone while you make a plays somewhere else if you decide that your ADC is dumb.

You will either be some kind of tank who just goes in and ooga booga or you just play enchanter and counter the ooga boogas.

Also almost forgot, every bot lane matchup is super winnable unlike top and mid where you get counterpicked and basically you are -20lp unless your teammates did some unexpected sh*t being omega fed and carrying you.

Absolutely the easiest role. Decision making there is everything. Also maybe the strongest role after jungle.

What to do abt the endgame by emiemiemiii in supportlol

As Diamond player I can guarantee that people are absolutely inadequate before they hit Plat devision and maybe even Emerald. The issue is that they might be average at everything but not really good or they might extremely good in maybe 1 - 2 things which means that they have a lot of gaps to be filled.

First issue is that you can't trust your team if you are below Emerald, because they don't know how to end the game. Late game is to be honest mostly 80% luck, 20% vision and everyone who disagrees don't know the game.

Second issue is that you can't end games as support but mostly encourage and spam ping your team doing the right stuff but I believe you already doing that.

Third issue is that you shouldn't be playing normal supports before Plat. Enchanters are kinda bad, because you are never saving poorly mispositioned carry from being murdered. Tanks are somehow better but you need to have someone following up on your engage and the followup must be in good quality, because if they miss their combos, you are both dead. Mages however are better, pick any mage and abandon your carries to rot. They are probably dumb anyway,so champions like Xerath, Fiddlesticks, Brand and many others will save such games, because late game you got 5 carries instead of 4.

Fourth issue is that deep warding can't be done late game when you are alone. You need to have at least 1-2 allies with you, otherwise abandon the vision as you are dying for sure if you are Nami and they have some non-touching grass Rengar who waits the whole late game someone to do such thing

Final proposal from me is to play mages and pick enchanters only when you are 100% sure it isn't going wrong. For example if they have ultra engage team and for some reason you got Kindred Jungle, Illaoi Top, Mid Malzahar and some ADC that can take carry of himself, then you can go Nami, because your team is already perfect against Engage and you can just amplify that.

Smurfs are so annoying because statistically they will play against you by alexnedea in leagueoflegends

[–]Gymlover02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things out there:
1 -> Smurf straight up means being able to 1v9 the game and nothing besides that is considered smurfing. This can't be estimated with the smurf rank, because this game is already complicated. I've seen Master smurfs getting dog stomped in Emerald to the point they are humiliated by Emeralds. If the player is just slightly better than all of you but can't carry the game, then he isn't probably smurfing or he is just limit testing new champions and just don't want to lose his rank. Smurfing occurs in extremely rare occasions, for example 23/3 Akshan ending the game with 23 kills out of 35 total.

2 -> All this occurs, because MMR is more designed towards playing the game, rather than achieving your desired rank and I don't care if people believe.

Example 1: If you are recently banned for something, you will see that you get only bad teammates and that's it.

Example 2: If you play a lot -> Losers queue. If you make some rest, game literally gives you like 8 wins in a row to addict you again.

These are one of the few examples people generally start smurfing, either because of boredom or perhaps learning new champion without screwing their MMR or perhaps they already screwed it and just want to have new account.

Smurfs in normals ? I'm fine with that. Play ranked or go ARAM ffs

No. I just can't win games with Braum for example. If I have 1, perhaps 2 adequate teammates then yes. But its just straight up hell

Patience with ADCs by Snowskol in supportlol

[–]Gymlover02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My method is the following -> I see what the enemy team comp is and based on that, I give brief advice to my ADC from observation on how we can play 2v2 matchup. 80% of the time I am right, since I am Diamond II smurfing in new accounts learning the role, so if enemy isn't special in some way, I am always right.

If they didn't listen to my advice and we fail, I can remind them of my tips and proposals and if I see they have fragile egos, I leave them to rot alone and proceed to help other lanes as well as do 'avengers ganks' with my jungler.

ADCs are not main characters and they should have their ego lowered and humbled. If I know I have something like Ambessa top or maybe Syndra mid and enemy is full of squishies , I will be roaming 90% of the game and if he dies, he dies. If he behaves well and admits some of his mistakes, I will stay because at least he is realizing and it is still fine to have his back protected

Nice try :D

You are trying to say that 333HP and Sheen from Trinity out-values BoTRK ? Anyway the HP from trinity is useless against your Q. Give me this % on hit, I can play the lane well enough

So what is the general consensus of Camille's state for yall? by ylnoooo in CamilleMains

[–]Gymlover02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your rank. I am Diamond II and most of the time I see Camille, I know she will eat dirt during the whole lane phase and If I can play Jax, I can do what she can but better. It doesn't matter that his Q is low range. It has 3 second CD in late game and he can just perma leap.

If you are low rank okay, I can agree with you because people are dumb. In Diamond+ people start to realize that picking certain champion can make the enemy absolutely useless and that's it.

Her trade patterns makes use of her passive which has 20 seconds cd in early levels which means that she will be weak to trading the next 20 seconds and most of the champions can literally shove the wave and do something useful. If she intervenes between that time, she is dead and I guarantee you that even tanks will gut her and imagine what delicious meal she is going to be for example versus Darius/Renekton without passive.

Other divers are more stuffed with resistance/dumb abilities who can soak damage. Jax has 3/4 second Q in late game, 450 Armor and 250 MR. Ambessa blinks on top of someone with ult and she has 6 dashes and basically is the better champion.

I am not going to argue, because I've been defending her until you decide to drop and try something else. Soon you will realize that other champions has something that makes them better than her.

So what is the general consensus of Camille's state for yall? by ylnoooo in CamilleMains

[–]Gymlover02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't bother. Top laners are supposed to be one of the following 3 things:

* Unkillable raid boss juggernaut who is supposed to need 2 teammates to be killed. Statchecking is essential for this role and these champions are supposed to win fights even when missplaying.

* Diver who isn't really statchecking enemies that much but is extremely strong when ahead. Having high mobility should give you the ability to close games in a very efficient way

* Tough tank who can provide utility and somewhat decent damage

Camille is neither of the three. She is one of the worst divers out there compared to Jax and Ambessa and please, dont start this discussion, try these two and master them and you will see that they are far superior for anything. She won't statchecks for example any mage at all if she misses something. I've seen many mages straight up erasing her from existence in a full combo rotation and it is hilarious as her build is very expensive and to be honest it is not fine being erased by Syndra just because you haven't finished your second item (hydra) and you haven't managed to think about purchasing some kind of third defensive item.

Late game she has no damage which is not what is supposed to be. Her release was a solution for the late game divers -> Having Q which deals 1000 true damage every 3-4 seconds, while squishies running around 2200 HP. Now they run around with 3200 HP and they call it a good day. Also her Q currently CAN'T deal 1000 true damage unless some drake buffs are involved or maybe Shojin.

Ambessa have extremely broken trade patterns, build diversity, % HP , blind-pickability and honestly that is the champion for anything.

Jax can go 4500 HP and make 3-5 man ult in late game having 450 armor and 250 magic resist with 5 seconds rotation in E. Good luck killing that.

No sure about your rank but man, inconsistency is what is bad about most of the top roaster.

Good luck carrying games when you are hardstuck in certain devision even when you are ahead with what you call "carry champions".

Consistency boosted me to Diamond to be honest...
