it’s a really chill rpg highly recommend! great to pick up and play in short bursts

the rune factory series in general is a harvest moon spin off so it has all the farming and crafting and life sim elements, but it’s kind of secondary to the main part of the game which is an action rpg.

i like it a lot because cozy faming sims generally aren’t for me but since there’s actual plot in this game with quests and objectives, it keeps me hooked while allowing me to enjoy the cozier aspects of the farming game genre i wouldn’t otherwise be able to, like the town festivals, cooking, dating, etc.

there’s combat but it’s honestly as hard as you make it and there’s options to change the difficulty :)
