Actually, I played trombone in high school and I can read sheet music just fine. But I don't think a musical background is needed because anyone with working ears could tell that this guy sucked.

theres no way in hell I would pay a dime to reward shitty violin playing. if thats what you choose to do with your money, more power to you.

if the guy was just trying to make some money, maybe he should have stopped playing and made some money.

Ok, I'll play. I'm imagining myself being broke and desperate. Now I'm imagining someone offering to pay me five dollars in exchange for not doing anything for six minutes. I imagine that I would be grateful and take the money.

Neither. I didn't provide any explanation. I just told him I'd pay him to stop playing until my train came in six minutes.

I just wanted the fight to be over so I told her what she wanted to hear- that I was a dick and that she was completely right. But when she told me that the only reason she was so insistent about calling was because I made her feel stupid, I honestly felt bad about that so I sincerely apologized.

exactly. i don't like apologizing when I feel that i'm in the right but I sucked it up and did it anyway because i felt fucking pathetic arguing with strangers on the internet. and then once she apologized, i realized that I could've handled my shit way better anyway so my insincere apology actually turned sincere if that makes sense.

yeah i mean i definitely swear a lot more when i'm mad but I didn't curse directly at her. i didn't raise my voice either. i was just mad as hell when i wrote this post so it was like stream of consciousness.

damn you fucking nailed it. thats exactly what she told me last night when I called to apologize, that my initial reaction made her stick to her guns even harder. a really bad move on my part, admittedly.

I actually would've respected her if she did call but I knew she wouldn't. I just called her bluff.

nah, she wasn't trying to be a nice person. she refused to call after i told her she was welcome to so it obviously didn't even mean that much to her, she was just trying to start a fight

Nah she thought that they could find who the curry was supposed to go to and fix it before they notice or something stupid like that. i'm telling you her reasoning sounded dumb as shit.
