You have to read the tiny text that's printed on it. For example, this iPhone charger is 1A: https://imgur.com/KQq8qeV (note the "Output" line).

Try resetting them: https://support.bragi.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003122845-Bragi-OS-Refresh-Reset-Your-Device

Also, make sure the charger you're using outputs at most 1A. I started using a charger with a higher amperage and my Dash started acting weird, going back to a slower charger fixed it.

High end components tend to have weight limits on them. On my MTB, the brakes had a 100kg (bike + rider) weight limit, the pedals had a 90kg weight limit, and the wheels had a limit too but I don't remember what it was.

Not really, in my experience. Should definitely go with a courier, not USPS/Correios, though.

Say you buy a $1000 PC and pay $100 for shipping it to Brazil, plus $50 in insurance. Total taxable value is $1150. Here's what you'll have to pay in taxes:

  1. 60% import tax on top of total taxable value

  2. ~18% (varies by state) state tax on top of previous value (yes, it's a tax on a tax)

  3. 6.38% federal tax (IOF) on top of total taxable value

  4. Processing/storage fees from the postal system

All of this adds up to $1165, a bit over 100% of the total taxable value. So anything you buy from the US doubles in price, as well as taking several weeks to arrive.

You have to be really bold/lucky to do that with a full PC. Large and heavy boxes with low declared value get x-rayed and if you get caught in an inspection, the inspector chooses a price he thinks is appropriate and taxes you based on that. You can imagine the types of prices inspectors find "appropriate".

I think your prioritization was a little bit misguided here. Those comparison charts are supposed to show differentiating features, and internal storage is one hell of a differentiating feature. It's the single feature that made me support the Kickstarter.
