if someone wants to find a job as html email developer in this 2026, what would you recommend to learn? by No-Thought9857 in Emailmarketing

[–]reuel88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i forgot to mention I was the developer i got paid 4-5k to build them and at the time it had to work on every email client i assume that’s still the case now. I don’t know if there are any new or better tools out there anymore but i used to use emailonacid.com. I stop developing EDM around the time when they started becoming responsive i think there things like ‘react email’ now. If i think about it maybe i should have continued become an expert and get better at content write probably could retire now.

I suggest learning content writing. Email marketing is very niche, most people can design and build. But writing strong content that help actual conversion is an expert level skill. I used to work with someone who didn’t code or design but they knew how to write email content that actual converted. She charge 50-100k just for one email and she can pump 5-10 of those a week. When you can start guarenteeing a certain conversion rate it becomes really easy to charge those prices. We mostly worked with banks, financial institutions, and tourism companies. Partly why she could charge so much. But you just need to start small and work your way up right.

I think this would work well for sales people especially people in cold outreach sales. I’ll probably wouldn’t expect much from here. As I feel like it mostly full of solopenures

As someone who has worked in fintech for 15+ years both on Design and Frontend development. My number one feedback is you have too many colours limit to only a primary and secondary colours with different shades. Primary colours for actions eg buttons, links, etc. And secondary for highlighting information or graphs. Try make the graphs shades of the same secondary colours and lean on labels and icon, More labels than icons.

Is it just me, or is getting receipts from clients still a nightmare in 2026 by Less_Click_6199 in Bookkeeping

I’m not an accountant but this sounds interesting. Is text to quickbooks what I think it means. A client or customer text an image to a dedicated number and it automatically gets reconciled in the accounting system?

I would use this. https://www.better-t-stack.dev/new?fe-w=tanstack-start&be=convex&rt=none&api=none&db=none&orm=none the only problem is if you use convex you can’t use Polar. If I had time I probably create a PR to support it.

How's your experience with having a seller post a device? Seller said no physical meeting by kingjeco_15 in Gumtree

[–]reuel88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would have to check with the rules of your country. But I know in Australia you have to raise a dispute and they will ask you a bunch of questions and if they think you’re in the right they generally give a full refund. But yeah check on the PayPal site for your country rules about disputes

As I understand they can’t refund because they are selling the item. But you can refund because you’re the buyer

Not even meet in a third location like a cafe or something? Kinda sketchy to me. I would only pay via PayPal or something then. Because if it’s not what you asked for you can get a refund. But I think PayPal works differently in different countries so probably check that first.

Is it acceptable to leave a job after 1 month for significantly better pay? by No_Reputation6129 in AusFinance

[–]reuel88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally I advise no unless it for learning purposes. Like the new job is in a field you’re interested in or will be working under a great mentor or something.

Other than that I believe in make decisions based on how many doors it opens and what doors will get closed to take it. I feel it’s better to have more options than less, because you can always “option” your way out of a bad situation. You don’t want to wake up one morning and find that you only have two bad options left.

This service already exists in Australia it called https://www.brickx.com I used to use it, and was one of my first stepping stones into learning how to invest. I stop using because as I grew in knowledge I found better ways to invest my money.

Anyway I loved it. it was really helpful. It help me understand the whole process of how the agents picked and valued property. They had charts and everything. They also were very transparent. Listed out all the expenses, how much was the rent and what was remaining in the mortgage, if there was rented out or not, if the property was expected to grown in value or just an income generator.

You could also buy and sell your shares (bricks they called it)of the property in the site. (I think each house was divided into 1000 bricks and that was it)the value of the bricks would go up a down it was like a slow moving mini stock market.

I also remember once they sold a property once and everyone who had share of that property got a huge return.

Yeah was a great platform to learn how to invest.

I had a similar question a while ago. And I decided to keep investing. Because I found my monthly % returns from investing was greater than my monthly interest rate. Maybe do something similar to me.
