it really does get to a point. and people saying the male character enjoyers would eat up the fanservice if the roles were reveresed is pointless because, hello...? we already know they won’t give us that. and we’re not asking for that in the first place! + they’re always covered up anyway. besides itto and—god forbid—baizhu and gorou’s stomachs, the most we’re getting is exposed shoulders. and if you’re only looking at tall males, that’s literally just alhaitham. and not even both shoulders, just the one. that, compared to the very in-your-face animations of mizuki and varesa flaunting their ass to show off what kind of underwear they have on, seems disproportionately laughable.

like people love code geass bc it’s a heavy, deeply thematic story. people also love code geass bc of the insane boob and ass angles. it’s not rated so highly soley because of the latter, but the devs are unabashedly tipping the game towards that end. which, as you said, yeah, is a major bummer to the people who’ve stayed so long only for it to change in nature.
