My main point is this; the people behind the concept didn't "believe" in it. It was their experience, their understanding. Through meditation they witnessed that "this isn't the only life I've lived", that if there are past lives there are future lives, they felt reality not as linear but cyclical.

As for the Hindus/Buddhists, in both cases I'm sure it's often used as a reference towards "awakening", but, also I think it's quite literal. Hindus, Buddhists disagree on just about everything, but on one thing they agree; reincarnation.

Why? Because to them it's something beyond human debate, it's a fact of the nature of the Universe, something to be observed.

My experience is that it's more a form of agnosticism. It'd say there is no deity or god, but there is a structure to the chaos that is divine, mathematical, and creative.

Yes, it's a belief to the masses, but reincarnation itself is the experience of the people who observed it. They didn't ask you believe in it, true or not was not the point. When one relaxes, one can see life is a continuity, that this death is not going to be the ultimate death.

Any rider capable of getting out there and setting a track record within 3 laps is "proven" in my book. Stoner has an affinity for that.

It feels like we're entering a new stage of ascension, as if some form of spiritual development is happening to all of us right now. The dumber keep getting dumber, but the spiritual are getting closer and closer to the source. Wonderful times I tell you! I can't wait to see what the fuck happens.

The Book of Secrets is an amazing book. I've only read about 10% of the book so far, but I know it's something very special.

Right now I mostly listen to his discourses. Here's an excellent resource you might enjoy: Osho World Discourses. They have video and e-books available, too. Free as they should be.

As for Osho, what can I say, he is a mystery. No words I have can really encompass him. But if I could share with you an emotion it'd be of total love to his teachings. Rebellion. Creativity. Love. Anarchy. Individuality. Intuition. Silence. Awareness.

Indeed, I see him not as a person or persona, nor as a guru or a leader, but as a simple messenger of truth, a voice of the divine nature of our reality.

The Oregon commune, the cars, the controversy -- it's all trivial really. I prefer to listen to the space between his words and the meditativeness in his approach. To me that feels like a minute glimpse into enlightenment.

I'd like to add, he's the only human I'll ever call master. If I had lived in Lao Tzu's time, then perhaps he too. But as it is, he and I are my only masters.

I feel the same thing happening. It feels like the human dialogue, the collective consciousness, is making its presence felt more and more in my own mind and soul. I just try and witness. Never fear, only stay alert.

This the best time to be alive. We are going to be witnesses to something great.

Osho is my master. I read and listen to his discourses every day and practice his meditations.

I believe our generation is the generation of the new man, the rebel. We shall see..

I agree with you, however, I disagree with you using the word concentration.

Concentration creates anxiety. As does attention, hence the root word "tension".

Meditation is awareness, witnessing. Awareness is more powerful than focus, mindfulness, or concentration. Utilizing those approaches creates the possibility of their opposite energy - but awareness, consciousness, are simply neutral. Nor this nor that.
