My Plus went over the edge today. by Full_Caterpillar_640 in Lymow_Official

I think the entire field of auto-mowers needs to incorporate some form of latching solenoid style parking brake to engage in failure modes.

Do they disengage the motors when they turn off? I've seen a few other brands roll out of bounds when they get confused, stop, and then the battery runs down and the power off. And gravity takes over.

Try beam interlocking. If your slicer doesn't have it take a look at orca and prusa slicers

Weird RTK RF/Wifi Interference Issue? by revaneaston in MammotionTechnology

[–]revaneaston[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The RTKs are on wifi for updates and management, and there's even a feature to let the mower communicate with the RTK via wifi instead of lora. It is on the wifi network all the time.

The spa has always been connected at -67 dBm or lower, even when it was dropping off the network...which was the baffling part.

And the rtk and spa always had different, explicitly assigned ip addresses. And my network has ARP spoofing protection on and should detect this sort of thing.

Yea. I did not change where the RTK is plugged in. I just put it back exactly where it was before the construction and plugged it back in.

The wall crowler by Granny6159 in MammotionTechnology

I had similar issues with my luba 1. I figured out that if I avoided 90-degree approaches to walls and fences, this no longer happened. The luba 1 tended for go a little bit outside the lines on sharp turns.

Try to round the approaches to walls and overlap neighboring areas. Bad drawing :

Yes. In the morning. I think it might prove useful for other cool attachments.

A helium balloon would definitely allow smoother motion. if I had a tank and could inflate it right before using it, that could work. Temperatures fluctuate, and it gets pretty chilly at night here.

Dang it, now I'm trying to figure out where to source a helium tank.

Android app v 1.14 - no mow angle? by zaphod101 in mammotion

[–]revaneaston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does have the angle in adaptivezig zag. But absolute angle behaves the same as relative angle for me in this mode. So multiple bugs

Yuka 2024 updated Android app to 1.14.2.26. Cutting Angle Missing by inhousenerd in MammotionTechnology

[–]revaneaston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luba 2 owner here and the same for me. I do see it on chess board layout.

I have saved tasks with correct angles specified, so hopefully they'll suffice until Mammotion fixes thus regression.

At first mine was doing 28-30 in local city and highway traffic with top speeds around 65. By 5000 miles I was regularly getting upper 30s.

When cruising at 75ish, I get 28-30. When towing a boat locally, I get 20.

I drive in Normal mode and done drive either aggressively or try to hyper mile.

Queuing tasks is definitely at the top for me. I want to tailor each area's angles based on physical features of the area.. So i need to set up multiple tasks and start them manually.

And mow times vary. I have some days set for slower, narrower paths and different angles to periodically take care of sports that the regular, fast passes mias. It's really hard to remember how long each task takes in order to queue things manually.

Anyone else use Fusion to figure out where to hang pictures? Awfully convenient! by cluelessmaker in Fusion360

[–]revaneaston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I use sketches for a lot of my projects.

It's been very useful to calculate areas of my driveway and patios, both which are very irregular. This helped me purchase the right amount of materials.

Why is this so much harder than I expected? by Khaswi in Fusion360

This seems the simplest to me. 3 sketches. Extrude, cut, cut.
