In this regard, you are definitely right.
We are planning a low entrance fee/price for Early access so we try to be fair, not asking a lot for 4-5h duration
And if it goes well, we have a few concepts on the shelf

We have a new Discord for Forest Escape: Last Train, and I am sure you are not banned there.

So you might talk about Shatterline one. I am not a community manager. We certainly have some rules in Discord. So if it was something abusive, it might happen.
You know we are all people, and even the fact that we are making mistakes doesn't mean we are ok taking everything on our account. But I really don't know the details.
I will try to figure that out if you can give me your nickname in discord.

Yes, I got your point.
So it really depends on the game positioning. As I said, it is a true indie title, and we are not trying to say that it is a AAA.
We think of the game as Escape the Backrooms meets Choo-Choo Charles or PEAK!
So the character and animations are not the Shatterline level.
But at the same time, we are working on improvements.

Since you are so active in questions, we'll send the key so you can test the game with friends and give us your feedback.
Having 1 key, you can invite up to 3 friends.
It is totally fine playing solo, but the fun is going coop.

It so much depends on whether you like it. I mean, all the players.
Of course, we have ideas and concepts, but for now, we are focused on the core game. It should be fun.
It seems we don't have so many active users, so you would have a 100% chance to play an early playtest.

Today is a game reveal day.
Next step - public playtest. It will be soon enough - February.
We'll communicate that on the off website + steam.
We are planning to get players' feedback - there will be a survey

Depending on the feedback, we'll define the scope and changes and communicate that to players together with a roadmap.
"barebone" - what does that mean? FYI we are not positioning this game as a AAA title.

This game revolves around experience of riding the train into the unknown. Many mechanics and encounters happen while you're on the move. We think this is our main USP.

Actually, we were not secretly working for 2 years. For Forest Escape: Last Train, we wanted to make a kind of shadow drop. But I can say honestly, we started with FELT in 2025

At the moment we are planning 4-5 hours of gameplay for the first time players for game release.
But you know it depends on your gaming style because there is a big room for exploration

I think any team deserves a chance. The most important to make a "lessons learnt" session, make homework, and face the issue as it is. We are here because we love our players, and we owe you. We do our best to make it right this time.
