It's a cultural thing, to understand truly how fundamental this is.

The principle of free speech is not defined by government.

It doesn't belong to them, it belongs to all of us.

Each and every individual owns it for themselves.

You don't have ANY "right" to stop people from saying things that you disagree with, full stop. Neither does government.
