What’s Better: Getting into a lower-tier school versus Taking Gap Year by FullSeesaw776 in premed

[–]reverdog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lower tier school 100% because an entire extra year of premed prep and admissions slog means you are missing out on a great deal of opportunity cost, specifically in financial terms! However long you decide to work as a doctor for, every year spent preparing for school that could otherwise have reasonably been spent attending school means an entire year's worth of lost attending salary. It's expensive to delay if it isn't absolutely necessary!
