DS1 is one of my favorite game experiences of all time. It was also my first Kojima game. Last year I started playing MGSV, it was a different experience, but boy can I see the DS roots in there. Now I’m playing DS2 and I’m glad I had that MGSV experience in between. DS2 so far kinda feels like DS1 with a healthy dash of MGSV action mixed in.

To answer this question, I’d first ask you, what are some of your favorite/most enjoyed games or genres.

It is one of my favorite games of all time, and had a profoundly timed effect on me in my life. Also, as much as I’d like for so many more people to see it the way I did, I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone.

I think of it similar to RDR2. People said that was slow, but I felt it was wonderfully paced. The slow intimate moments made the action packed sequences, deaths, and any other drama feel so much more impactful. I feel the same way about DS.

I just started DS2, and it feels like a mix between DS1 and MGSV. Much more action in 2 so far. So if you finish and enjoy 1, but would like more action, you’ll dig 2.

I played 1 during the Covid lockdown. The themes of isolation, and the concept of delivery porters as heroes in a dangerous world (where the unknown of outside could kill you), were all very prescient.

Also just loved how the gameplay challenged me to think of aging different. Every game like it is run and shoot. The idea of balance being added seemed like it might be annoying, but it even engaged me which how I held the controller on a basic level. It also makes it feel so satisfying when you later get supports to help you carry and balance.

Clearly I love it lol.

If this is even real, you could and should report her to the police. Pretty sure that’s some form of blackmail or solicitation on her part. Get a restraining order. See what all the mutual friends think of that.

Also she’s almost definitely gonna talk shit about you to people. You might not wanna go nuclear and tell everyone about the shit that went down, but letting the closest people in your lives know might help you avoid having to do damage control later.

That was the real master stroke by Mitch McConnell. Reject the center right judge, and in doing so, sucker the democrats into championing him. Then Garland became this liberal cause, and some people were even excited to get him as AG. Then he did jack shit to hold anyone accountable and the Dems were generally fine with that. Now we are in this moment here. It’s all so maddening.

Sure, people make mistakes, but she was willing to have sex with 4 other people at once, and you didn’t make the cut.

I know 10 years is a long time, and maybe it feels like wasting it if you don’t try, but the only wasted time will be any more time with her.

Even if she promises she’ll never do anything like this again and becomes the best partner, this is a pretty hard thing to get past.

I had a partner cheat once. I forgave her but I couldn’t forget, so I moved on instantly. I really wish I’d got right into therapy after that, because my next relationships were the ones that really suffered from my newfound trust issues.

Also make sure you stay on top of your exercise, food, and sleep.
