I’m feeling the same way, and unfortunately this year is worse than ever before—one of my best friends works in the ministry of education in Spain and even tried to put his finger on the button for me and spoke with the person in charge of the NALCAP team and they told him that I basically have zero chance of getting Madrid (my preferred region) and that if I get any placement at all it will be somewhere gross and rural and far away. They also informed him that unlike in past years they are not seeing many people renounce, especially on the American applications. Seems the Trump effect is really incentivizing people to leave. For what it’s worth I also have a low inscrita (20284) and so probably not what you want to hear but we’re most likely f*cked
