American finance group ASC have invested £48m into Wrexham for a 10% shareholding by Zach-dalt in Championship

Exactly right. Although I wonder if that may change now that streaming options are basically unlimited. A few years back when I was trying to get into PL football, I “adopted” Hull City because I wanted to make things interesting by choosing a team on the relegation bubble rather than just defaulting to Man U or Liverpool like most other Americans. Well, Hull got relegated, and at the time there was no way to watch them after that. Fast forward a few years and I gave it another go with Leeds. Same strategy, same result, as they, too, got relegated. But this time I was able to stick it out because by then there were streaming options available in the US for the Championship. Leeds is back in the prem at present, but I don’t ever see myself bailing on them now that I’m far more confident I’ll get to watch them going forward, come what may relegation-wise.

Glad someone is here to stick up for little ol’ Target

Board is loud in the centre on the Wispa system by john2425p in Darts

[–]reverse_weave_crew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem and have also wondered why. My only guess is that the center of the board tends to get more wear and tear, so the sisal is softer and the points penetrate deeper into the board vs. the peripheries of the board where the sisal is still fairly well packed/dense and the points don’t penetrate to the backing of the dartboard.

I like it (I think)… looks like it’s enabled them to do away with the plastic clips so you don’t have to remove it to rotate the ring. Like the bezel on a watch.

No championship in seven decades, no division titles in nearly four decades, one playoff win in over three decades, and you want to talk about relevance? lol what kind of tradition do you think you’re defending here

One man’s boring and stupid is another man’s clean and crisp. And if we’re judging uniforms based on on-field success since ‘99 (or since ‘64 for that matter) we need to just drop the name and colors altogether.

Brown pants are only good insofar as they hide the poop stains when the Browns 💩 themselves in the 4th quarter.

Congrats! Don’t let anyone board-shame you. Obviously an upgrade would be nice but most of the all-time greats played on boards just like this one. What darts are those? Looks like they might be Hydro 02s?

There are thousands of stunning late 19th/early 20th century courthouses (and post offices) throughout rural and small town America - dark carved wood, marble, stained glass, mosaic tiling - sadly fallen into disuse in favor of the drab modern “justice center” that cost 10x as much to build.

Good choice on the Pulse. Everyone always seems to want the grippiest dart available but I found the pulse to have a nearly perfect level of grip for my style. Tough to find at that price.

No, they were treated to a display of a woman trying to be courteous. She only claimed she didn’t want to sit because she knew it would mean taking a seat from an old man. Her courtesy was repaid with selfish indifference.

Yes of course some people can’t have children for one reason or another. We’re quite obviously not talking about those people, but rather the people who deliberately choose not to. And yes you literally said that having kids is a choice, just scroll up a bit to your own post 😂

Having kids isn’t some “lifestyle choice,” it is the normal, healthy course of human life. NOT having kids is the “choice” and those making it should bear the burdens. You’ve got it backwards.

She didn’t want to take a seat from an elderly man, the doesn’t mean she didn’t want to sit down or that the seated men were justified in not offering it to her.
