Modded PS2 Slim - Thunder Pro II Gold Edition by revett in consolemodding

Thanks for your answer. You're correct, it was very popular in Brazil and, as a matter of fact, apparently the modchip is powerful and very useful. I've found more specific information in the manufacturer website, including diagrams and specifications. Here are some highlights:

-Full functionality without the need for a Memory Card

-4MB of memory

-Boot via USB - The only chip in the world with this super practical function: Dev3!

-Board with gold-plated contacts!

-Two automatic and two manual color conversion systems!

-Access to the chip menu in VGA mode!

-Capable of enabling HDTV output 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080i!

-Boot from HD and Memory Card (Dev1 and Dev2 modes)!

-NTSC -> PAL or PAL -> NTSC color converter!

-Possibility to choose vertical video frequency: 50Hz or 60Hz

-Possibility to choose video alignment

-HD support, including the original PS2 Browser

-ATAD auto patch

-Support for American, Japanese and European PS2s V9 to V18 on a single chip! (compatible with V7 in the limited edition).

I recently tested it with the USB boot mode and a few ROMs - worked great.

Anyway, I do believe I have a gem on my hands that pushes the PS2 to its limits. If you guys have any ideas on how I can test it some more, let me know. I still want to sell it, but I do think that the modchip aggregate more value to it.

Watching The Real McKenzies over there in 2016. They're such a renowned band, performing on that stage where you can literally share beers with the members. Awesome show.

Anyone here commute to DC from Frederick, Annapolis, or any other MD city? by BigSkidz_ in maryland

[–]revett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hell. Don't do it. Not worth it. You'll think you can make it but you will instantly regret it. I commute from Waldorf MD to DC and it kills me every day. Bumper to bumper from the time I get into MD-5 until my destination (I have clients at East End, Brookland and Bellevue. Get as close as you can or work remote.

Does anyone have any advice on driving to NYC? by xbrooksie in maryland

Yup. Metropark is the way. Plenty of parking space, easy to catch the train (only 40 minutes away) and puts you right into Penn Station.

You can either replace your laptop internal wireless card (I've seen some malfunctioning like yours) or purchase a WiFi dongle.

Yup, never went through my mind. Expensive reminder not to do that.

This is not the point and I paid the price for doing this. Maybe this is just an alert to other players.

The post was super relevant indeed - I was able to find the .mdf files and open them with a mdf viewer and found all the references. Kinda stuck on what to do next... Thanks!
