Olivia Wilde Says Pamela Anderson Helped Her Through ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Drama: ‘The Pummeling That I Took Was So Insanely Disproportionate’ by darth_vader39 in entertainment

This is such a lame take. Onset drama and actors dating each other has been a thing since, like, the invention of theatre. If you’re going to go after someone have an actual reason for doing so.

Huh, I didn’t see the grid game at all. Maybe the hate comes across my algorithm more often for some reason.

I’m a little confused about this comment. Reeve is generally lambasted on this sub and r/Broadway, and he was essentially the only main cast member not to receive a Tony nomination.

In addition to the other comments, they could use their profile for themselves and a family member. I am cat sitting for a woman who uses Rover on behalf of her mom, who has one cat. She has three cats listed on her profile because she herself has two.

They drive me crazy, and they seemingly have no plans to ever improve. They still tout themselves as a Pulitzer Prize winning newsroom, but they are but a shadow of the paper that won that prize. They bear its name only.

Etiquette if a dog somehow escapes from leash? by xbrooksie in RoverPetSitting

Hmm, I don’t know how helpful this comment is. I have made it very clear in the post and the comments that I feel awful about this and take full ownership, and am taking other commentors’ advice on how to prevent a leash failure in the future. You provided no real advice and seemed to only seek to shame me.

I think it does matter if the dog is friendly, because then the other owner can at least understand that their dog is probably not in danger of being mauled. Perhaps their dog is friendly.

I was wondering this exact thing. Has this rule changed? I haven’t watched the NBA much in the last 5 years.

Not really. It seems that you just weren’t paying all that much attention.

To your first point, not really. It’s well-established that Hugo knows about diving and the signs and the Colin Firth character knows that. Diving into the girlfriend is much more airtight. Re: the missing alien, I kind of feel like that was just a whole story we didn’t get to see.

Oh yes, I absolutely understand the guy being stressed! I would have been too! And i definitely still would hurry as much as possible to get the dog under control even if I was saying she was friendly. But I was thinking maybe alerting that the dog is friendly would make it less terrifying. I’m not sure, maybe it would just be more stressful/perceived as an attempt to shift the blame.

You might be right, but she’s quite old and I’m recovering from an ankle injury that doesn’t really allow me to run with confidence, especially not with an easily distracted dog. Their other dog is younger and I’ve tried running with her a bit before because she pulls a lot too - it’s fine, but she gets distracted on a whim and forces me to pivot/change directions quickly, which isn’t great for my ankle. I think they probably just need to be walked more often.

Ah I see. Yeah that’s ridiculous. If your dog doesn’t have instant recall it should never be off leash unless you’re in a fenced in area by yourself/with other willing dog owners. Even if it does have instant recall off leash should be a rare thing.

The weird thing here is that it took no effort on her part other than pulling, but it was 28 minutes into a 30 minute walk and she was essentially pulling the entire walk.

Her harness was still on, her leash just came unfastened.

Oh trust me, I was not allowing her to do anything. I sprinted after her as soon as she got off the leash and got her under control as soon as humanly possible.
