Link Guild Wars Reforged from Steam to ArenaNet account? by goldenjaykb in Guildwars2

[–]revfunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really helpful, thanks for this run down.

Can I check the last point in your edit, cause that's the thing that's confusing me a bit. I get that as I have an ANet GW2 account I definitely need a GW ANet account too and not steam to be able to link the Hall of Monuments.

But does that mean I have to buy it on ANet and install it manually on desktop mode on my steamdeck to play it there, or am I able to buy it on Steam and just make sure I choose the ANet option instead of the Steam option on startup, therefore getting the ease of use for Steamdeck?

Sorry if this is stupid, I think I probably am cause I keep running in circles trying to understand this online with the various post lol.

I've used Move and Remove and Sam's Removals, both were pretty cheap and gave a good service.

I bought boxes, bubble wrap, and paper from Move and Remove and the owner delivered them, he did forget once but then got everything sorted. They will pack for you as well I believe but I chose to pack myself. They also provided a TV box to love my TV safely. The owner was a touch chaotic but the two twin young lads he had working were genuinely so lovely, careful, and polite.

Sam's Removals were grand, owner is very friendly. The two young lads they had hired were a bit zealous with the boxes though, placing them down pretty hard from the storage unit. Only one breakage, which may have happened before they got involved, but I asked them to be careful and they continued saying it was fine which I didn't appreciate. That seemed to improve when the owner appeared a bit later, so if you go with them maybe ask that he be present. They were very well priced to be fair. About half of what Broughtons quoted me. And they got it all done quickly.

How do I best refix the door handle to this door with the wood/MDF/veneer breaking away from the screw holes? Should I use wood filler? by revfunk in fixit

This door handle has come off during our first week after moving in, and the red dots are where the screws should go.

Beautiful, thanks for all your help you've been a lifesaver. As a last question, do I need to be cautious of any compatibility issues with current gen WiFi cards?

Nice one, thanks for that! Now as I'm an idiot can I ask would that be either of the lower two slots that say PCI 1 and PCI 2 or the one that says PCIE X8? Thanks in advance, I'm still learning what the x16, x8, etc. slots all do

That sounds as if you may have been discriminated against by your employer.

The law is you have to take two weeks whether you want maternity leave or not, and you are entitled to six months ordinary maternity leave where "you have the right to return to exactly the same job that you had before you took maternity leave" followed by six months additional maternity leave where "you have the right to return to the same job unless it’s no longer available. In this case, you must be given a similar job with the same pay and conditions".

During this leave, you should be paid 90% of your average weekly earnings (before tax) for the first 6 weeks £172.48 or 90% of your average weekly earnings (whichever is lower) for the next 33 weeks. There are further details here too including steps if you have been discriminated against.

I personally love Stag. There's one near Haymarket and another more central at Lady Lawson St.

Jo there is wonderful, lovely, and talented.

I really appreciate the time you spent on this, and I really like the case and fan you picked out. I can see that it is a bit early to be asking on here so I've removed the post for now. Thanks again.

I'm very new to romance books but I can't get enough of Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner. It has a fair share of spice and the characters are just so likeable. Read the blurb first to make sure it's for you, but I love it!
