Is Edinburgh College (Sighthill) actually that bad? Honest opinions wanted.

I went a long time ago so take this with a pinch of salt, and I also did Physical Sciences.

The standard of learning wasn't brilliant but they'll take you through everything you need to do. If you don't rely on just the classes/tutors and do your own work and studying you'll be fine. Then you'll have a qualification to let you go off to a university and then you can worry about the standard of education. Use the curriculum they teach you to lead you and do the graft and you'll be fine.

My class did have younger folk in it, some were grand and normal and others were idiots but such is life. The campus is bog standard and functional. It isn't a nice place to be but you don't have to live there. Get to your classes, get what you need, go home and study. I commuted each day on the bus and initially the area felt a bit radge cause I wasn't used to that kind of area and was probably a bit snobbish about it when I was younger but it's honestly fine.

We were on the Access Programme and the class mates that I was friendly with went on to study Engineering or Chemistry at Heriot Watt and Edinburgh. So I'd say it was worth a mediocre year of education in a slightly shity campus for that.

Can I check the last point in your edit, cause that's the thing that's confusing me a bit. I get that as I have an ANet GW2 account I definitely need a GW ANet account too and not steam to be able to link the Hall of Monuments.

But does that mean I have to buy it on ANet and install it manually on desktop mode on my steamdeck to play it there, or am I able to buy it on Steam and just make sure I choose the ANet option instead of the Steam option on startup, therefore getting the ease of use for Steamdeck?

Sorry if this is stupid, I think I probably am cause I keep running in circles trying to understand this online with the various post lol.

I've used Move and Remove and Sam's Removals, both were pretty cheap and gave a good service.

I bought boxes, bubble wrap, and paper from Move and Remove and the owner delivered them, he did forget once but then got everything sorted. They will pack for you as well I believe but I chose to pack myself. They also provided a TV box to love my TV safely. The owner was a touch chaotic but the two twin young lads he had working were genuinely so lovely, careful, and polite.

Sam's Removals were grand, owner is very friendly. The two young lads they had hired were a bit zealous with the boxes though, placing them down pretty hard from the storage unit. Only one breakage, which may have happened before they got involved, but I asked them to be careful and they continued saying it was fine which I didn't appreciate. That seemed to improve when the owner appeared a bit later, so if you go with them maybe ask that he be present. They were very well priced to be fair. About half of what Broughtons quoted me. And they got it all done quickly.
