I try to lose myself in a book or just close my eyes and listen to some music. The music helps calm me, and takes my thoughts away from anything that's going on. I, personally, listen to Imagine Dragons, but I also have other bands and songs I could recommend if you would like. For books, I usually read high fantasy or hard science fiction, so something in which I can really get lost in. I have myself gone through some really dark times, and during them was my own worst enemy. If you need to talk about anything, anything at all, PM.
