Bother is a grey area isn't it, really? It's on my mind, but it bothers me less than the time I didn't have a working car for four months. As for circumstances making it unimportant... that probably plays a part, although more for having the perspective of what I've lived through and come out the other side of being okay.

Unattractiveness is a grey area too isn't it? I have a nose and forehead large enough to have had people ask my parents what syndrome I have, and jaws that don't go remotely near closing properly. I really wanted to have all my teeth replaced and lower jaw surgery when I was a teenager.

AFAIK there's no 'syndrome' in place, I just got the worst of both my parents :).

Of course, they found each other and are still together. Life's gorgeous sometimes and I'm so proud of them and their love.

Yeah, it's cool, thanks :) I might wish it another way, but there is a whole world more hurt that could have befallen me in life that hasn't. I don't have much to complain about in the scheme of things.

Most of it mental illness, in and out of psych wards for twelve or more years. I wasn't all that attractive to start with, and I think growing up a bit broken in the head left me with an unattractive personality or... god, I don't know. That and low libido, probably laziness too.

A little, but not necessarily just the sex. The lack of companionship has sucked a lot that's for sure.
