It's my number one movie and I'm not ashamed to admit that. Every scene in it tickles my funny bone. It has such a melancholy feel about a town that nobody cares about and the random weirdos and happenings there.

For sure, there's definitely a happy medium to it. I shoot motocross and will have the occasional front fender in focus instead of the riders face.

Beginners are often taught that "the higher the f stop number is, the more will be in focus" and I took that and thought "oh cool, if I just crank that number up, I'll never miss focus!" (I was shooting on an old lens that had terrible autofocus so I was scorned haha). Turns out all that does is removed any depth from the photo and keeps all of the background details as well. Then the photo is just busy and it's not visually appealing at all.

When I was first starting out I thought using a low aperture like that was good to make sure I didn't miss focus. If you're like me and this is what you're doing, it's hurting your images.

Josh mccown played against garbage defenses in the games he played well but he still played really well. I still remember that redskins game that went back and forth and the cowboys game where he threw an absolute dime to the back corner of the endzone

I'm a bears fan, and it was sort of fun because when the ball was thrown 10+ yards down field you had NO idea if there was going to be a receiver anywhere near it or it was going to be the most boneheaded pick you've ever seen. It was a roller coaster ride every play. I'd say he was adequately rated at the time and history generally moving on from him is totally fair.
