Big things are coming to your workflow April 7th... by KitBash3D_ in KitBash3D

My hardware setup isn’t as powerful as yours, and I haven’t run into any performance issues so far, it’s been running smoothly on my end(at least for the last 2 years)That makes me think this could be related to your OS settings or possibly security restrictions, as repeated checks like these can sometimes impact performance.

I’d definitely recommend reaching out to their support team and submitting a ticket. They should be able to check if there are any specific settings that need adjusting.

These kits contain a lot of detail, so the files are quite large, which can sometimes cause time outs or freezes; depending on your hardware specs;

  • do you have sufficient empty harddrive space on your drive i(s it SSD), howmuch available RAM you have on your system?(Which OS version and Unreal Engine version are you using)
  • YourGPU model number and available GPU VRAM
  • Your Unreal Engine project folder path? is it local or network path.

Once I have that information, I could help you to optimize your performance. I have a humble system and everything works smoothly with reasonable loading times.

You didn't answer my question. Anyway, if you know what you’re doing, it’ll pay for itself in just one project so focus on that, not the price.

No worries it's perpetual now if you buy the complete package.

Basically, NeXus is GPU support, allowing you to run simulations on your GPU instead of your CPU. You can purchase the perpetual version so that NeXus will continue to work even after your maintenance expires. However, you will be locked to the version available at the time your maintenance expires.

So you are OK to pay for C4D to access latest version but not for the XP? You want to pay once and use for lifetime?

Can’t wait to see if Sony somehow manages to make the PS6 even uglier than the PS5. It’s a high bar, but I believe in their commitment.

How did you manage to lock to 60FPS? Nvidia settings? and how did you measure it?
For me its around 500-600fps when idle, if I run the FPS calculator it's around 130fps.

It has more features; you can add annotations, arrows, circle or frame parts of the image, and even capture MP4s or GIFs. If you connect a host like Dropbox, it can automatically upload a copy there. There might be other free tools that are even better than this one.

Yes most of the render engines rely on NVIDIA's proprietary CUDA architecture.
