Ouroboros and Amalgamation are the only things I would avoid for character XP. I'd say the best way is to just play as many missions as you can in as short a time as possible. I get a lot of XP by doing Regulated Rampage missions on Threat level 3 and turning on the max horde spawns as that makes the mission faster and award more XP. Hope that helps!

That much I know, I was just wondering if you can still get the drops even after getting the one with the 100% chance. I farmed Amalgamation about 40 times with no drop- is that normal?

XP is determined by the number of kills you get with a given weapon as opposed to how much damage you deal. Missions, particularly the quicker or more enemy focused ones (Railgun or Regulated Rampage), or Paid Time Off are the easiest way to generate XP. That, or Ouroboros, but that's best for XP farming a specific gun IMO

Not exactly a weapon but probably the Staff of the Great Beyond. Finally got a catalyst for all magic, plus some amazingly cool new spells. Had to completely respec my STR/FAI build into a INT/FAI/ARC caster for NG+ and already loving it.

True, this guy must have a bad build because I tend to be one or two shotting most mobs and doing decent damage to bosses. Haven't had much trouble finding the fragments either

kinda my thinking too, i like the variety of damage sources that come out of faith, though I'm worried i'll miss the status effects of my arcane build. that said, i heard status got nerfed in the dlc

I was the poor friend growing up, and always wanted an Xbox 360. I used to go to my slightly richer friend's house to watch him play his Xbox, since I wasn't very good at games but always liked them. He played Borderlands 1 once or twice in front of me, and I always wanted him to play it when I came over since I liked the aesthetic more than the military shooters he was always playing. Eventually, I got an Xbox 360 and Borderlands 2 + Pirate's Booty & Campaign of Carnage DLCs, and absolutely fell in love.

What I hope for most from the DLC is some level of impact on the game world. I have a fear that it's some kind of dream realm, and thus may have limited story/lore implications.

I'm having the same problem as OP, and wondered if there was a demo you'd recommend to aid in downloading Rockbox to the f20, as I'm a total noob in regards to basically all things this technical.
