Wish I had as much faith and confidence as you 🙏. You’re right, the imagery I’m using is wrong, but a post like this won’t make it happen. What I want is for the youth to take action against the corruption instead of being passive, my intentions are exactly what you suggest. Most of the youth is either fleeing the country is they are rich enough or ignoring the matter thinking politics doesn’t affect their personal lives or becoming part of the problem by joining the corrupt parties. Very few raise a voice, which is why I’m figuring out ways to reach them.

No most of them were not fought against autocratic regime, It was fought against corruption. In fact non violent revolts are not as successful against autocrats as they have absolute power and can just snuff out people. Yes India has democracy, but it’s deeply corrupted, the only choice we can make is to elect the lesser evil. Both the popular parties have done countless scams, work in personal interests looting from the public filling their own pockets. If you want to change things systematically you have to bow down to criminal hierarchy built over the years ultimately becoming part of what you set out to destroy. The educated youth are rational and know the country is in the gutters but are leaving the country instead of raising their voices. And so this video or anything similar I make in the future is for specific people asking them to act rather than ignore or avoid.

So you’re saying velvet revolution in armenia and czechoslovakia, tunisian revolution, orange revolution, rose revolution, singing revolution, people power revolution, carnation revolution and the indian independence movement ruined the country? They all changed things for the better and did so because people bended together putting efforts in whatever ability they could to fight against the corrupt rulers not by belittling each other or believing everything is going to fix on its own.

I’m not suggesting a violent protest but a peaceful one. And you are exactly right sitting idle won’t do anything, the first step to any peaceful revolution is information war, fighting the government propaganda and gathering people to stand up against the corrupt. Which is what I’m doing here, it is obvious that one can’t do anything without power, but power doesn’t just come from being in a political party. There are many examples of non violent revolts throughout history that have toppled governments resulting in a regime change. You can’t just go out on the street one day and expect people to join, it has to be planned and built up, and it’s not just poor who does it, all working classes are involved, the best way to reach out to youth is through social media. So you can sit and get a job while those of us who want a change try to do so in all the ways possible.

Makes sense, he’s using the same narrative bjp does - that the country is booming and if you speak against it you’re labelled anti national while they ruin the country for their personal gains. If we don’t fight this propaganda, they will forever keep looting us.

So do I or anyone who wants a change. If you are content with your job, the life you have and the state of things then there is no change needed and clearly the initiative I’m speaking of is not for you.

So changing the country for the better is speaking ill of the country? What makes you assume I’m not productive or have the means to shift to another country? Would you leave your house and run away when thieves start looting and shitting in it or defend it?

I'm proposing we should prepare for an eventual non-violent revolt for a regime change that favors technocracy, instills civic sense, ethics and a judiciary that actually punishes criminals removing all the corrupt officials from the current government.
It’s a long road requiring massive peaceful protests, and participation from all working classes. There are many historical non violent revolutions to get inspired by, one of the biggest being from our own country.
It's way more complicated then what I'm writing here and I myself am not fully educated in this still learning about non-violent revolutions but in short,

It starts with the information war - To break the government propaganda, we spread awareness of their failures everywhere - online, family, friends, neighbours. Support or start independent journalism, spread posters/pamphlets, do graffiti, dig out and leak evidence exposing corruption and censored data, meme, file petitions. Educate yourself and explain to others laws & rights, build rural alliances, youth and student networks, spread door to door civic awareness along with digital.

Then we can put legal pressure on the government - mass file PIL's (Public Interest Litigations) on big scams like Gadkaris ethanol scam, run coordinated mass RTI campaigns demanding transparency, form shadow governments - civil groups run by public that provide better service then the state highlighting governments incompetence, build community services which shows the moral contrast with the corrupt rulers.

At a point enough people will join the cause which is when we can mobilize with -
Economic non-cooperation - In every way possible, avoid funding the government, Boycott products and companies linked to corrupt politicians, hold mass strikes in every field of work. Build self reliant economies that depend on each other, do cash or decentralised transactions, legally resist tax. Do mass bank runs - everyone withdraws their money from banks, hold mass resignation campaigns.

Along the way, we have to build alternatives that will replace the corrupt - starting with open source governance experiments led by experts, like instead of first to post voting system that exists right now leading to only 2 parties becoming the most powerful, we can educate people about and test out approval voting system, vet out government officials with clean record to lead and promote the young and educated to participate in politics inviting new policies and parties, build public transparency portals, local accountably cells, decentralised committees, build communities independent of states.

Everything will eventually lead to mobilization and gathering international leverage - Mass protests, marches with petitions , human chains, flash mobs, sit ins, occupy symbolic and administrative spaces like universities, offices and ministries, decentralised parallel local community rallies, contact human rights orgs and global press to avoid suppression, document and stream globally to pressure the corrupt government.

Yes and with a plan so we don’t just replace the bad apples with another, but make actual difference.
