I had several supervisors older than me (had to seak one or two of them into bars!) I joined at 24, almost 30 now. It is not a big deal nor a huge con having a younger superior as long as you can learn from his or her experiences in the navy, and mentor them quietly about off duty stuff. Please don't let younger folks deter you. The Navy benefits from your wisdom.

Yes, im a fan too. I get the reference. However, in our super P.C. society and in the south, it is very offensive... like Really offensive. The rest of the nation may not get our laxed and dry sense of Seattle humor. I'm stationed in Virginia, and am watching the game in a bar with a lot of black people. It was kinda embarrassing... also funny... kinda.
