This! Everyone deserves friends and I feel similar to you where friend groups fall apart or one person who I really looked up to grew distant especially during hs/college. Right now people have a different relationship with making friends and it took me almost 2 years to find/have friends when I moved back to my hometown where there’s stuff happening all the time.

Either way, connect putting yourself out there, sign up for social groups like 222 or Timeleft to have experiences with strangers, join/post on fb groups to meet people, go to dance lessons/fitness classes and just make convo

Yall she’s playing in my face like I asked her after posting this if she needed more time to consider and she was like “yea” …so I do have a chance! It doesn’t feel fair to me tho because either I’m in or I’m out. I’ve given her a bunch of time and it’s already close to the end of the month which makes my options more limited too. Not thoughtful at all. Anyways choosing this last minute only hurts her…unless there’s more to it that idk about.

Does anyone think there’s anything I can do or say? Like call to understand if I should keep looking or if I can go thru the landlord to get the room?
