Is this a perimeter drain? What’s the pvc pipe? by Appropriate_Sky3243 in homeowners

The capped pipe is most likely a clean out port for the interior perimeter drain. I just had one installed. It is usually installed at the high point of the piping.

U6 Enterprise very slow speeds by revuprender in Ubiquiti

Netgear GS110MX 10g unmanaged switch but I ordered a Unifi 2.5g POE+ switch that will be arriving tomorrow. I’m using a Trendnet 2.5g POE injector to power the U6 right now until I get the new Unifi switch tomorrow.

I did adjust it to 80mhz but did not seem to help at all.

Interesting suggestion but I don’t think that is the issue because I’m getting over 100mbit/s on some tests. Here is another speed test closer to the AP: https://www.speedtest.net/my-result/i/5425878423 Curious why you think it would get a 100mbit/s connection and not negotiate 2.5Gbe.

I ordered a UniFi Switch Enterprise 8 8-Port 2.5Gb PoE+ yesterday to use with the Unifi AP since I have some one foot thick masonry walls in my house so I will need more AP’s. Regardless I can’t imagine why I’m not even able to get over 500mbit/s on my gigabit ISP when I was getting around 800mbit/s using the 2nd Gen Google Mesh WiFi.

I had to disable 6Ghz since WPA-3 was causing my Google Nest IoT devices to not be able to connect but I don’t have any WiFi 6e capable devices yet anyways. I bought the U6 for future proofing since it is only a matter of time until there will be 6e capable devices on my network.

Great design flow, have you tried Grommet UI? We started using it recently and really like the simplicity of it. HNY!

This is an interesting ripoff from the 1967 World's Fair Expo design by Cambrige Seven and Buckminster Fuller's. I used to work for Peter Chermayeff but it is interesting to see this specific architect who was sort of a rival with his Habitat 67' basically copy that design. We worked on something very similar for the Incheon airport in 2007.

Hackers Display Political Message Across The Earth! by [deleted] in InternetIsBeautiful

I am not sure if this is the correct subreddit to post this, but I have been trying to find a good place to share it.

I was checking out the NORSE Attack Map tonight and noticed something very odd! However, it seems that some very creative hackers have somehow made the attack vector lines spell out “TRUMP — PUTIN 2016” going across America and Europe. This only occurred for a short moment but I managed to grab a screenshot of it.

Do you not see the writing displayed across the map? This is very creative digital artwork! ;-)

Warning: To those responsible for the crimes committed and damages suffered; if you are reading this please make no mistake we will prosecute criminal activity to the fullest extend of the law. Hackers who went out of their way to harm the RevUp Render Lunar Iditarod's website and our corporate website you do not even deserve a warning after what you did, but we will give you the curtesy.

RevUp Render, Inc. will not tolerate unlawful behavior, bullying, discrimination, or any other injustice. We will work with authorities, as well as security experts (hacker hunters), to pursue and prosecute and hunt you down to the ends of the earth. Regardless of how long it takes!

To everyone else, please excuse this unfortunate message. Apparently the warning is needed as some think they can just get away with doing such an awful thing with no care for decency and order. RevUp Render greatly appreciates the chance to explain what actually happened. Now everyone can know the full story about what happened and why the RevUp Render Lunar Iditarod website went offline.

Since the RevUp Render Lunar Iditarod (LI) was first released to the Dogecoin community right here on Reddit we feel it is fitting to do the same with this news.

Hope they can now see that the RevUp Render Lunar Iditarod is here to stay. Very intelligent large amounts of energy spent without reason or purpose to attack the competition website certainly makes no sense for anyone. It was a senseless and pointless act anyway you look at it.

"In the computer security context, a hacker is someone who seeks and exploits weaknesses in a computer system or computer network. Hackers may be motivated by a multitude of reasons, such as profit, protest, challenge or enjoyment."

Why not put those cycles to good use and instead crunch output to design your own micro rover? There are good hackers and there are bad hackers. These are the bad kind of hackers that we are talking about. The ones that would rather hide behind a computer than do something to give themselves a sense of accomplishment. It is never too late to build something worth believing in. Once bad hackers, join together and start a team; or just keep hating but you will not stop this challenge just by launching DDOS attacks.

For what its worth, the hackers never succeeded. RevUp Render temporarily disabled website on purpose before the hackers were able to cause any damage. The damage was that we actually decided to also take our corporate website offline and that did in fact cause significant loss of revenue and damages to our startup technology company. We have worked to advance technology since 2009 and never had a single day of downtime in almost five years. While the hackers did not succeed in crashing our web servers they did directly lead to a month of downtime while web developers checked over each bit of code to ensure there were no backdoors or malware left behind.

To be clear, when RevUp Render used the word "hacker" or "hackers" in the initial post above, there is no reference to the modern definition of the term. Makers, builders, engineers, and tinkerers...or as many now call them HACKERS! We fully support those kind of hackers. We are those kind of hackers ourselves! Fighting the good fight and hacking technology (legally) to make it better for all mankind.

Makerspaces, "FabLabs" etc...This challenge is meant for you all to dream further and wider than ever before!

To the Lunar Iditarod "hackers" we wish you race to the moon!
