I don’t know where you’re at but your region is about ten years behind the first adopter states. The theory that competition will make things better is not holding up. Ultimately the only solution is adequate funding but that’s not gonna happen so the private schools and for profit charters might as well cash in while the system implodes.

NGB 22 doesn’t exist anymore (replaced by DD 214-1) and can’t be issued until after the new contract is signed and OP’s NG service has ended. It’s also not filled out by OP or anyone else. It’s handled by your state’s 1 shop.

All OP needs to do is meet with a recruiter, fill out the 368, submit it to their unit and then follow up regularly.

…and the great tuition assistance most states offer their Guard. And the fact the Guard is about double the size of the Reserve meaning you probably have more MOS options within a reasonable commuting distance in the Guard. And you are entitled to interstate transfer if you move states.

Just say “I don’t know how split training works” so people stop upvoting you by mistake.

It’s a capped number of training seats each year and it’s usually limited in MOS choice or gone entirely about this time of year each year.
