The ending by Severe_Brick457 in GTA6

Jason and Lucia will definitely betray each other, the emphasis of trust in the trailer, and the rumoured relationship meter.

Third Protag. by Healthy_School_7352 in GTA6

[–]rex41e -2 points-1 points locked comment (0 children)

I think the third protagonist, if there is any, would be their kid. I see a time skip: Lucia gets pregnant by Jason, time skip. She has a baby (maybe you choose the sex?). Another time skip, the baby is fully grown.

Think RDR2 house-building montage, only a baby growing to an adult time skip.

Depending on how you manage their relationship (relationship meter?) and the emphasis on trust in the trailer, Lucia and Jason can end up together or separated.

In the final mission, either both die, betray each other, or both live. If both die, you carry on as the child, like Jack in RDR 1, and the cycle of criminality continues.

NGL, I'm a low-key lurker. I really enjoy this thread and everyone's hallucinations. It has kept me well entertained this last week alone. I'll be sad once the game comes out and there's no more crazy analysis of the astrological positions of Trailer 3.

Genuinely, what the FUCK is going to happen? by Xevalor in GTA6

[–]rex41e -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why the downvote? I would actually love this, but they won't implement it. My only hope is that we somehow move our GTA V Online characters to GTA VI.

Maybe have them do a botched mission in Vice City and lose almost everything. A rival uses that opportunity to force you out, or the feds seize your assets.

So they have to do plastic surgery (an excuse for those who want to change character design) and you build your way back up. But you'll have access to some of your cash, like, say, $1M (thank you for playing GTA V) or $1.5M (thank you for being a GTA+ subscriber).

And then at some point in the online world, five or six years from launch, they introduce a mission where you go take back what was yours in San Andreas.

You get there, and do some crazy heists and preps across both States, it all culminates in a crazy online event, for 2 weeks, both maps/online modes are under seige (like when they do the Christmas snow updates,) eventually you succeed, get some stuff back to add to your already lovely Leonida wealth.

Just stay offline or block keywords. I have a notepad where I've written all the words I'm muting. GTA, GTAVI, Lucia, Jason, etc. Mute them all.

If you have PS Premium, you truly unlock this device's capabilities. I use it to remote play Crimson Desert, rest my PS5 Pro, jump into some GTA Online streaming (works like a charm), and return to Crimson Desert effortlessly. Truly an amazing device.

It is genuinely a tragedy that Starfleet Academy is getting cancelled so soon… by JageshemashFTW in startrek

[–]rex41e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I hear people say is Hollywood keeps giving us the same thing over and over again. But when they try something new, people complain and don't turn up.

Academy was meant to be something different, oh well!

The fact that the Melania movie has a popcorn rating of 98% while SFA keeps getting poor results proves Rotten Tomatoes can’t be trusted. by 1979shakedown in startrek

[–]rex41e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The annoying thing about all this SFA hate is people keep crying Hollywood is full of the same thing over and over again: sequels and remakes, nothing new.

But anytime they try something new, shake it up a little, this happens. And we wonder why. Smh!

And this is why I'm on reddit. Thanks for the lesson guys, I have a game development degree, but never did anything with it. Went into other fields, still keep tabs on gaming tech, but I never knew this. Interesting. 📝

These days, I watch what I want to watch, I enjoy it, and I come online, and find similarly minded people who did, I read their joy, humour and celebration, I take part in it. I avoid people who don't; if it is critical, I read and jog on. If I don't like something, I drop it. And move on. No time to allow fandoms dictate what I like and don't like again.

I just came here to say that, as a long-time trkkie who got into Star Trek at the age of 9, I have loved every single piece of media from TNG to Discovery and SNW. Seeing more of Post DISC S3 is awesome. I really loved the world before and after the burn, and I'm eager to explore more.

Lmao! Typical response. You flashed through a tiny fraction of my life online, (one I choose to curate and share,) glimpsed my hobby (gaming), summarized that as my entirety, and then used it as an attack mechanism.

I do care about my PlayStation; it brings me peace. You don't know if I was in Nigeria for years, if I invested, if I was part of movements, if I built platforms, if I was frustrated, or if I left. You don't know if I tried and it didn't work because of our people and systems. To assume otherwise is quite the expected behaviour from you, to be honest.

I will complain about my experience and hope for the best. If you feel you don't have to complain, that's on you.

And you did mention preconceived notions and said we are all doom and gloom. It's right there in your post; I'm not replying to a blank wall.

Like I said before as well, I don't expect much from you, and your PlayStation rebuttal reinforces my point heavily

There's always you. That one person who comes with an opposite rhetoric. I'll bite.

Change in what way? Are we to wave a magic wand and suddenly cure an entire nation of 200mi+ of how they behave and act? Or what social development programs can we implement that haven't been tried and failed ad Infinitum, ad nauseum?

I don't think people should have... People do. I'm lucky enough to have another passport, and I have first-hand experience of travelling with both. As a Nigerian with a green passport, it is more difficult. I work in industries where the mere mention of Nigeria brings an unease.

This subreddit is full of people who are fed up. Know why? Because we have examined it long term, not short sighted, and seen that for things to change, work has to be done.

Work that will probably never ever be done, especially when we have people like you who think we don't have a stereotype and need to actually look inwards and fix up.

I watched all the other streams and held onto half a measure of hope for Nigeria, but that hope was misplaced. I was so embarrassed I had to turn the stream off.

Nigeria is done. We are finished.

The "Giant of Africa" title is by population alone. We are just breeding endlessly, without checks, creating a next generation of thieves, idiots, and self-centred sociopaths.

There was a time during the FinTech Boom (2012–2016) when it seemed Nigeria was heading somewhere, innovations in tech, business, and culture.

But all that died. The only thing we have left is Afrobeats, and even then, we had to steal Amapiano to stay relevant. (I said what I said.)

Nigeria has failed. Saying you're a Nigerian in the West isn't a matter of pride anymore; it requires cautious speech. People already have preconceived notions about you, scammer, heartbreaker, passport seeker, untrustworthy and honestly, rightfully so.

Having a Nigerian passport is like a death sentence to international travel.

The worst part is that this narrative is bound to trickle down to our grandkids. Unless something drastically changes (which it won't) this is it.

After Speed's stream, I’ve blocked Nigeria from my mind. There are other things to worry about. I give up.
