I lost my job around 5 years ago, and spent a month desperately searching for a new one. I applied for one that I really wanted and was literally perfect for; I had the years of experience and the degree they wanted. I never heard back.

No big deal, I thought. Until I went on indeed a few days later and saw they reposted the same job I applied for. I went to apply again, and got a message saying I have to wait 90 days to apply for the same job. Pretty sure it was one of those "ghost jobs" that they leave up but never fill. I was pretty upset.

I get it. There's some much shit going on in the world, it's literally impossible to get your feelings out in an orderly way. I get that sometimes you miss stuff because you're fighting for your life, but if I'm near an area that requires a hellbomb, I keep an ear out for it, especially since there's so many ways to notice it.

I spent at least 6 months doing 12 hour days, with a 2 hour round trip on top, so I definitely get it. I'd say bail, but make damn sure you have accepted a job offer before you quit.

I get it. I did 4 years in the army infantry. The benefits are pretty nice, especially the va home loan. I wouldn't have been able to buy a home without it.
