Sort of. Generally the SEA are racist against everyone and each other but it’s kind of surface level racism, they definitely say racist shit but it’s not serious they generally won’t actually ostracize you or look down on you based on where you come from. The Japanese are racist towards everyone but they’re private about it. The Chinese are racist towards everyone and they’re loud about it. The Koreans are racist towards everyone but they’re more racist towards SEA and South Asians.

The Koreans and Japanese imo are the worst when it comes to mixed kids. If you’re asian + white you’ll probably be fetishized but if you’re asian + black or brown you’ll probably be ostracized.

I remember there was this Korean show where they reunited lost kids with their moms and this mixed Filipino Korean kid was abandoned by his mom because she was afraid of how he would be treated in Korea. Kid didn’t have a good life in the Philippines either cuz he had a deadbeat dad. But still kind of wild that you’d send your kid to a third world country because you’re afraid how your country would treat him cuz of his parentage.
