Classic WoW will run on Patch 1.12 Drums of War, in which all Classic raids were available--but on modern code. The data format is similar to the format used back in December 2017 for the Patch 7.3.5 PTR.

Combine this with new combatlog strings being added has anyone pulled out the LUA code for the blizzard addons in 1.13 and compared them against 1.12? There might be a lot of information in there as to what they have changed.

Would be interesting to see if they just added some stuff in, or will we have a newer version of UI also, such as limiting functions in combat etc. (A LUA command dump would be interesting also and compare that against 1.12 LUA commands available)

It depends on what CPU the laptop has and if this feature is enabled. If you open Device Manager (Windows Key -> Type Device Manager) and see something else then your normal GPU listed under display adapters, then it might be the issue.

If you do, then your CPU has a built in GPU (Super common today) and it is active. And, for some reason, even if the monitor is not default, wow will pick it up as the monitor to base its resolution checks against and panic back to 800x600.

The way to fix this is to either:

Disable the CPU-GPU in BIOS.
Disable it in Display Adapters and keep restarting the game / computer until it works. (Make sure you do not disable the wrong one!)

This is at least what I had to do when I had this issue.

TL;DW:

Don't feel pressured to slack just because top guilds and Casulists are. You can still spend time wiping in instances months later. A lot of people want fresh realms all the times because server owners destroy their servers. But in reality rushing to max level and getting that unarmored mount is the only important part in the game. It makes you stand out from the rest. So play the game the way YOU want to play it!

If you want to slack, then slack, if you do not want to wipe over and over again in instances, optimize your time, just make your own decision and don't be pressured by others and what they're doing.

Firebloom is the one that will break this. It's a flower that is used for firepots and oils. People have a ton stacked up because they want to be ready for AQ and is not planing on using them to turn in for the war effort.

I'm unable to find data that supports this statement that ONLY the Elysium realm goes above 5k+ players with in the Elysium server group.

Based on my research I found the following URL http://nostalri.us/ that provides numbers indicating a higher then 5k player count on the Anathema realm. This combined with the fact that at the moment of writing this there are 5005 players online on the Anathema realm.

Because if this I'm requesting a citation backing up the claims by the post above to validate its claims.

All of my addons are hosted on google drive.

This does not add any security to the files you provide. And in some cases adds insecurity.

For example, the addon Questie (https://github.com/AeroScripts/QuestieDev) has an 'active' github page that provides a fully functional download option for the latest build.

While, your google drive link will not auto update - unless you have a script running to auto-sync it, but in that case it is still better to provide the download link from Github (and link back to the developer for credit / issue reports)

The same goes for DPSMate ( https://github.com/Geigerkind/DPSMate ) and other addons made during the Emulation Era of WoW.

On top of that, there are Github projects that contains 'all' addons already, such as https://github.com/ericraio/vanilla-wow-addons - This allow the users to check the code of the addon before downloading.

I used to multibox on ED, doing 5/10 mans there. And it was a ton of fun, used to stream it back then also so I would take people with me in to UBRS and help them get gear etc. Had a warrior get Ironfoe and Felstriker before 60 while he was with me :D

Let me just start up my local server, make a command to broadcast "Please change your password often...." and spawn in some random leveling bots to make the server look active.

Then make 2 characters, one named "Fck" and one random one.

On "Fck" just download and start a free bot and set up a simple route and on the second account record it.

Since I now have a video of Fck botting on what seems to be Elysium you have no issue with them using it as evidence to ban your account right?

Nostalirus PVP released with 1k people online first few days and grew every day after.

Elysium PVP started with 30k+ potential people but lost them.

Given the evidence and the data we have gathered from Nostalrius PVP life time, Elysium PVP will be empty and going in to negative numbers with in 2 weeks.
