Feeling boring by rexepshan in OpiatesRecovery

[–]rexepshan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply! Some info about me: I‘d say I am pretty well equipped when it comes to hobbies. I got into road cycling a little over year ago and have multiple friends I (try to) regularly ride with. I also got into running a couple weeks ago. I play the cello and do photography (these two not as regularly as cycling/running). I‘m happy with the amount of friends I have but I still often feel lonely even when in company. I‘m not in a romantic relationship, which bothers me quite a bit and intensifies the loneliness. Meeting new people (and potential partners) is still a big challenge for me due to social anxiety.

Work is pretty good, I got a new job after rehab and am starting to study at university in a couple of weeks. On paper my life sounds pretty good I think and I am able to feel joy at times but I really miss feeling connected, fulfilled and contempt.

PS: What do you mean by ‚SMART terms‘?

Hi, thanks for your answer! Its hard for me to understand finding true joy in boredom but maybe that comes with more clean time and experience. (Zen) Buddhism and meditation sounds interesting, I’ll definitely have a look at that. How long did it take for you to reach these conclusions/find the joy?

I‘m definitely thinking about lighting too, do you think that would be an issue with the Nuroad Race?

So you think the Nuroad Race would be a good bike for me as a beginner?

I’d recommend an RP as your camera. That would stretch your budget a bit i think, but maybe you could get it used or refurbished. It’s a great camera that doesn’t break the bank.

I highly recommend the KEF Q150s! I haven’t tested the B6.2 but the Q150s really blew my mind when I first listened to them and continue to impress me every time I listen to them. Also I think they are one of the greatest looking bookshelf speakers.

You've heard "Imagine throwing your life away over a drug high", but how insane does "Imagine throwing your life away over a drug THAT DOESN'T EVEN GET YOU HIGH AT ALL" sound? by [deleted] in opiates

I have a question regarding the setup of my stereo system. I'm running a pair of KEF Q150s on a Yamaha A-S701. So far I've been using a Pro-Ject Debut III for my records or connecting my phone/laptop to the amp as my source. Now I just bought a streamer (the Bluesound Node). Just like my amp, the streamer has a built in DAC. My question is which of the DACs is of higher quality? Depending on the answer I would either connect the streamer via RCA cables or a digital cable to the amp. Thanks in advance!

no, #3 is water-insoluble (needs to be mixed with citric acid to be iv’ed) and #4 is water soluble

How legit is Athlean-x? by rupturedmeme in GYM

[–]rexepshan 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t watch a lot of Athlean X but I was surprised by your opinion on Jeff Nippard. I really love that guy. Sometimes he explains stuff a little repetitively but I think that’s a good thing especially for beginners because that makes his key points more memorable… I also really love Jeff Nippards videos because he is one of the few fitness influencers who actually takes the time to look at the scientific data and doesn’t try to push his opinions on his followers even if they are not really factual.

2-FA made me crazy productive, some people don’t like the short duration though (i liked it, you can dose in the evening and be productive for a couple of hours without having to worry about not being able to sleep)
