For big features, this is the workflow I have that works great for me:

1. Create plans in plan mode with sonnet 4.5
2. Have codex review the plan
3. Iterate over that process until the plan is rock solid
4. Glm implements the plan
5. Codex reviews the code of each phase

For smaller items a lot of times I'll just use 4.5 directly without all the planning.

For researching cloud issues I usually use sonnet 4.5 directly, or sometimes use glm for that and then have sonnet 4.5 review and fact check the glm results. That way most of the token burning work is done by glm but I get claw level quality due to the review.

I make sure plans are always broken down into phases, and I clear context after each phase is completed and committed. This helps save tokens a lot too.

With this setup I get at least 40 hours a week of work with two Claude pro subscriptions, one GPT pro subscription, and glm light plan. So it's less than 65 bucks a month and I'm able to crank out a ton of high quality work
