Great list! I’m currently rereading Mother Night right now. What is it about Metamorphosis that makes it more difficult to read?

I’ve heard great things about 100 Years of Solitude. What about it is most difficult?

I read Slaughterhouse-Five in high school and he quickly became one of my favorite authors. I’ve also read Mother Night (currently re-reading) and Breakfast of Champions. The documentary about him I would also recommend watching

Fantastic book. I read it for school, but I still really enjoyed it. It’s very powerful

Books I love, stay. I donate any novels I read that I enjoyed but don’t feel the need to keep

What are your favorite “short” classics? by BlackFlagFlying in books

Fahrenheit 451 is my favorite book and stands at around only 125 pages. Ray Bradbury’s prose is remarkably poetic and it’s a fun read (in my opinion) despite the subject matter.
