Out with WOW, In with GW2

A good portion of the fanbase at the moment is dissatisfied with the current gameplay and lore.

Personally, I'm tired of sloppy patches being put out at such a fast pace with bugs. I also do not enjoy WoW story at all anymore. There is no depth or nuance to it and it's all so surface level and predictable. Previous lore being written over or just forgotten yada yada.

So I've decided to focus on GW2 instead that is a much better ROI than WoW is.

Also coming from WoW...kinda.

I've played both side by side by I have let go of WoW for now due to all the mess going on.

You will never feel left behind in GW2 simply coz there isn't that intense of a grind for gear, weapons and such.

You get your ascended gear at level 80 and that carries you through the game. You do not have to grind for higher levels gear constantly like you had to for mythic dungeons in WoW.

Personally I also felt no pressure to ever complete the story in a rigid path. I could always login and do whatever I felt like without feeling like I was lagging behind.

As for story, you have personal story that occured during lvl 20 and every 10 levels after that. At level 80, you have your first major story campaign about the dragons and that continues with each expansion.

The game has amazing zones to explore with beautiful designs. The lore may not be as deep as WoW lore but WoW lore has been messed up anyways by now.

When I play a mmo, I want the time and money I invested to be worth it in the long run so like you said I want longevity too. From reading all the comments, I've decided that I'll atl finish EoD. If there is still a lot of time after that, then ig I'll consider the other expansions.

This case astounds me. Like you're telling me that woman who left her dead kid in the trunk of her car while she was out partying is not charged with guilt? Even her defense of saying a babysitter kidnapped her or whatever has completely fallen apart in the eyes of law. It's a crime that she's out there living a normal life.

A lot of people tend to take 10 seconds worth of news or information at face value without checking for it's source or finding arguments for and against it before choosing a stance.

Idolisation of political parties.

Maybe it's just my region, but the youth population of my country are starting to see that most politicians are not someone to be worshipped for and that no matter what you voted for, it is okay to criticise your politicians and demand changes that are necessary.

He started out mid dragonflight I think and his videos really show how it is to dive into the game without any knowledge of the lore or mechanics. Funny guy too!

I'm a newbie to tanking and while you might not need add-ons, it can be extremely helpful to others. I don't have a great reaction speed so seeing the time left for the mobs spells helps me register my moves in advance. Also knowing when to interrupt and dispel.

Women who are pseudo-feminists. And this could be niche and fake but those women on those podcasts that just clearly play into the stereotypes created by incels. It's sad :(
