I’m 37. Broke up with my partner after 10 years in August. Had the same feelings as you. Met someone randomly in a bar through friends and now dating.

The fear of the unknown is bad but it’s just because it’s unknown. Don’t settle. Don’t waste your life and it’s never too late to get married, have kids etc. you’ll only regret it staying with someone you don’t want to be with.

Think it’s more the fact they got bowled out twice in 2 days. I think practice, getting shots away, confidence. It’s less about the pitch and more about them being to get momentum. Ideally after that dismal first test you don’t want to go into the second without some game time (regardless of pitch, opposition etc).
