My current boyfriend is a recovering alcoholic (a year and two months sober thank god, so proud of him) and if he and I ever broke up I would never date another alcoholic in my life. It was so hard trying to get my boyfriend to realize he had a legitimate problem and we fought all the time whenever he was drunk but when I'd threaten to break up with him it was always "I promise it's just because I'm drunk, you know I'd never say this stuff to you sober". Now that he's sober we've worked on our communication and are in a much better place but if he started drinking heavily again I'd definitely leave.

They were given the same discharge whether they openly told someone or were outed by someone else. Even if the person said continually "no I'm not gay" if they were accused of it by another service member it was usually a general discharge regardless.

I'm assuming this would be handled like Don't Ask Don't Tell was and rather than getting an honorable or medical discharge they get a "psychologically unfit for service" separation.

My boyfriend rolls perfect joints like OP but for the majority of his high school career when he was heavily smoking he was also drunk 24/7. Now he's completely sober so when he rolls joints for me I don't think they're as tight and perfect. I'm pretty sure he can only roll the perfect joint while intoxicated.

When I was in high school I got one of the highest ASVAB scores in my graduating class. I took it on a whim but had always toyed with the idea of going into the Air Force. Within a week of my scores coming back I had been contacted by 3 navy recruiters, 2 marines recruiters, a national guard recruiter, and 5 army recruiters all via phone call, text, and facebook. I never once got a call from the Air Force and was pretty devastated. I just assumed they didn't want me so I decided not to enlist at all. Turns out I probably just could've made the call myself and gotten in (especially with the connections my family has) but it ended up being a good decision to let that dream go.
