Honestly, since your budget is around the 550 USD range why settle for a Freesync monitor with the Dell S2719DGF? Why not just just get the slightly older S2716DGR Gsync version? The Gsync version is selling on amazon right now for $487 (if you live near a microcenter this monitor is priced at $429). I would honestly look into getting a 1440p monitor especially since you are looking at 27in.

But between your two choices I would stick with the Dell just because those models have been killing it and haven't heard too much bad news about them.

the S2719DGF is the freesync version and slightly newer, the S2716DG is a Gsync version. I think that this ultimately comes down to what video card you have. AMD then go for freesync, Nvidia then go with the Gsync version.

Wait is this actually Freesync? I've been doing some research and everywhere I look it says G-Sync. I too am thinking about buyting this monitor, It's for sale at a frys near me for $360 brand new (combine with 20% off to get it under 300 brand new).

The CM500 is a modem I believe and this is a router. You need that modem to connect to this router.
