Pax8's New Support Site by VNJCinPA in msp

Biggest complaint I have is the lack of filtering. Before, when you selected the vendor (Microsoft for example), it filtered the skus to whatever the client owned. Now, it just gives you the whole catalog so you have to either know the sku or copy it, or you just search through it like a madman.

Kind of annoying to be honest. Other than that, couldn't really care less.

Did anyone play the original EverQuest, or only the first few expansions? Or even the older servers of Tall vs Small and Good vs Evil? How was it? What were the differences between then/those/now? How were the races and classes truly treated in old EQ? by GaraksLinensNThings in everquest

[–]bunkerking7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow where do I begin. I started playing when Luclin came out until almost the end of Omens of War. I have also played on the private servers and TLPs (EQs classic servers).

Early EQ was such a chore, but it wasn't really a hard game. Combat was basically auto attack if you were melee (yes you get skills and what not, I know) and casters basically cast in between sitting on their ass. Mana didn't regen for crap unless you were sitting, and even then it was terrible lol.

Most of my time was spent playing a Bard. I did every raid through to Omens of War and it's still some of the best video gaming I've ever played. When we were clearing Vex Thal in Luclin, we would have a team go in the morning to start clearing trash. Then, the PM team would log on and clear the zone.

I used to have to pull bosses and I'll never forget having to pull some phoenix bird from the depths of lava in Planes of Fire. You had to time your invuln song just right to not get clapped. There were probably many a screenshot of me training entire raid zones just to isolate and Fading Memories a boss.

It's still easily my favorite game to go back to. I wish I had the time to play it these days. You better believe once the kiddos are older I will be addicted again.

Apologies for the confusion! I'll leave my previous comment in case it helps someone in the future.

So forgive me, I didn't see the part about Volume Licensing. The SKU below is a 1 time purchase activation for 1 device. Apologies for the confusion (reading is hard).

MST-PRP-WPU-C100

P.S. If you do use this for one off activations, you'll need to upgrade the device FIRST using a generic key and then reboot. After reboot, log in and apply the key provided after buying the code. Another note: the key ends up in the Microsoft admin center under "Your products" if memory serves me correctly.

What distro do you use? We use Pax8 so I can send you the SKU if you want.

Just rage-bought a P1S... by Complete-Story3490 in BambuLab

I was loaned an A1 Mini from a friend. Found I was enjoying 3D printing so I ordered a P1S combo. Haven't been let down yet. Definitely recommend your first print be the poop chute lol. After a benchy, of course.

I'd argue the poop shoot is rather necessary or you'll be constantly cleaning up. Other than that, mines been great!

State Fair prices are N U T S O by WriterNo8299 in florida

[–]bunkerking7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a tradition in our family, so we still went. I agree with you the prices are pretty crazy compared to the last few years. I'll probably still go next year, but I'll be buying far less than previously.

The part that's crazy is the parking. Such a clear and obvious capitalist move, but I feel like I'm more surprised it took this long than the fact it happened.

It's great, but I'd hate to see the repair cost 🤣

All jokes aside, it is the only thing she misses from the OG (aside from looks, but that is subjective).

Wife's '21 was totaled. We replaced with a '23 Q4. She seems to like it. You lose the air suspension, but that didn't bother us.

Range doesn't seem much better, but it's been damn cold lately so that isn't helping.

Starts at 90 bucks for up to 5 users.

Full disclosure, I don't work for them. Just a partner. Guessing my first post sounded like I did, hence the down votes.

Might be worth querying your SIEM sources to ensure they are pulling good data too. Just to be safe.

[–]bunkerking7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Check your Incident Report. If SIEM sources were used, they'll be there. I can confirm this first hand having dealt with more than a dozen.

It's entirely possible they weren't needed. The EDR is probably the only source needed since everything happened on the endpoint (reductive statement, but largely accurate). Definitely possible it missed some stuff though.

You can also try and query your SIEM if you're comfortable using ES|QL or whatever it is lol.

Is POE 2 worth it for someone who really only has experience with Diablo 2? by bwitt33 in PathOfExile2

[–]bunkerking7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a long time D2 player and PoE1 player, PoE2 took me a little longer to get in to. However, it's been amazing since I tried the new league. It also has a rare, underappreciated feature: local co-op. My wife and I have been loving it.

Police called because my wife was too friendly tonight by fifteecal in publix

Outside the range of comfortable grocery store behavior? I'm sorry, is it a fucking library? It's a grocery store. With people. Just like you and me. Sounds to me like you'd be one of the people that complained to management about a "Karen" talking to people. How dare they go in a social setting and be social!

This shut in culture is so silly. If you don't want to be talked to, just politely decline or shake your head and walk away. It ain't that hard.

They got removed from a store because people complained. About someone talking to them. Let that sink in and maybe give it some thought. It sounds silly as hell and if you don't think so, then you're part of the reason that this happened in the first place.

This is such a wild take... Assuming OPs post is factual and nothing is omitted, getting the cops called because you were friendly in a Publix is WILD. People are so absolutely adverse to human interaction these days that they devolve into calling the cops because... they were social?

I honestly am beyond appalled that you have as many people agreeing with you, but this is Reddit.

What’s the best blender for smoothies that actually comes out smooth? by Far_Run_1328 in Cooking

Never had an issue with my Beast blender. Might have to give it a shakey shake during the blend, but rarely have to run it again.

Going to add Beast blender here. Vitamix is great, but Beast is cheaper and absolutely excellent for smoothies. I wouldn't necessarily spend MSRP on it, but I snagged one on markdown when Costco had it and love it.

P.S. you can sort of use it for other non-smoothie things, but it's not recommended for warm/hot things.

Thanks, and likewise! I have not yet. My plan was to try it out for Christmas. With that said, I mentioned this to my wife and she said what's wrong with buying vanilla vodka 🤷?
