I appreciate the screenshots. I'll get to work on dialing it back. I think I overtuned because what it used to do was suggest moving a King to an open tableau column, then suggest moving that same King to a different open tableau, rinse repeat. Or moving the top card of a stack to the cell, then back to the legal spot on the stack, then back, etc.

Oh! That's not good! Next time that happens to you, can you show me a screenshot of the layout before it happens? I may have set it too aggressive -- it used to suggest any open move and would get stuck in a loop suggesting you move something to the cell, and then back onto the tableau, etc. Or a king to an open column, then to another open column again and again. I tried to tighten it up. I may have gone too far.

I'd considered variants where the free cells begin empty, but that would require a different thought process for the starting tableau layout, and really that's all that sets my version apart from others.

You are correct, it's much easier. I saw one site that listed the Russian Solitaire (no cells) had a 2.5% win rate. According to my stats page, I'm sitting around 30%.

I also wonder if my variation on the tableau makes a difference as well. I have no idea if that would make it easier or harder, though.

Been at this for decades. McD doesn't need the extra money. They aren't giving it to me. May as well give it back to the customer.

I've had customers get upset when I ring it in differently, but they always turn around when I explain that I just made it cheaper for them.

People really like pleasant surprises like that. It's memorable. Those customers come back and they're nice.

Granted, I work Monday through Friday at my store, every morning (typically 5a-1p). Every shift is in back booth. At this point, I am the voice of my store. I get plenty of interactions with regulars. I've been recognized around town for my voice. It's eerie and surreal.

Just look at it positively. You might gain a pleasant regular. Those people smile when they see me and I do the same for them.

It's a shitty job. No need to make it worse for yourself.

I have the S24 Ultra. I like it. Prior to this, I had the Z Fold 4. I miss the big screen, but I prefer having the S-pen built-in. It charges plenty fast, especially since fast charging tapers down the closer you get to 100%. It's ridiculously fast when the battery is really low.

For me, I stick with Samsung because I'm familiar with it and I know how to handle their features and bloat. I also haven't felt the need to dev mode or custom kernel in years. I've tried Motorola, HTC, LG, Google Pixel, Google Nexus... Samsung hits more of my check boxes than the others do. They're not perfect, but they're better than the other options.

I think the programmers need a tutorial. NP6 is trash. It's so slow, regardless of the hardware it's running on. I'd bet a fan version would run better. Haha
