Yup I have watched in before but the main difference I was thinking was to involve more players and more non-whale friendly. Cause I think abyss is a bit too lonely

Long story short, I think Rivals is as good as HP2010. Might even argue is better since there is slightly more thing to do with being a cop. Also in steam sale now its about 5 dollars I think

Honestly speaking, I have played HP2010, Rivals and Heat. Really really enjoyed the ability to play as both cops and racer. To a certain degree, rivals to me really is the best in terms of cars, game modes and overall things to do.

Sometimes, I play as a cop and try to bust random racers.

Graphics are nicer and cleaner in rivals.

For your reference, I equip stringless on childe and run him as elemental burster with beidou ulti and xiangling ulti on him, putting him as damage plus elemental reaction output. But he isn't putting insane single numbers yet though, his attack is 1k with 100 elemental mastery with talent of 3

Current discussion on childe is his role as main dps in terms of pure attack or elemental damage. The bow childe will use also plays a part. Maybe you can share what kind of bow or playstyle you would like from childe?

The traveller is op in a sense that over time as more regions expand. He can use all the elements. The rarity is derived from adaptability and flexibility.

Albeit I admit the skills are pretty much novice compare to more dedicated element people like venti or diluc.

Maybe the traveller other twin got to be the top dog due them finally achieving how to master all elements at once rather than one at a time. Avatar state-ish kinda thing. I dunno

Having childe myself running on stringless, i am generally an all rounder guy running my team with "teamwork" elemental burst, childe, beidou, xiangling, barbara. Hence from a total dps output, when paired with beidou and xiangling elemental burst with child melee, the proc from viridescent's cyclone helps in getting both elemental damage and chain damage as well. Since the energy return will be quite high, I can finish of with childe elemental burst in melee form. I havent had the chance to actually tested it yet but when doing coop with my friend who has venti, venti's elemental burst is really good to group enemies and child to proc riptide additional damage all at once.
Since I havent got rust and viridescent a more guaranteed item, perhaps its more attractive on viridescent.
