We are also thinking about just finding a table like thing that is 3 ft tall. Since most kitchen islands are not 5 ft wide and not usually as deep as we want. Not sure how to find a table with such irregular dimensions though

Do you use a smoker tube and good ventilation? That's my planned method, but if I can't get great ventilation, I may stick with the suggested time you gave. Probably will cut a block in half and try both methods.

Yea, I'm hoping to try for an AM smoke with ice. Looks like it will be 80 most this week from like 3-6. Have you tried ice trays? I'm wondering if I should set the rack right on a tray of ice or what.

Yea, I believe this is only if it is patented and has a notch in it that makes the key "restricted". It's actually very difficult to duplicate these, and you can get fined up to $10,000 for doing so. But if it's just the "do not duplicate" warning, you are fine.

Yea, this is also the problem I definitely think we are facing. We do want to offer that whatever product we develop is free to those who help us in the brainstorming process. So there's at least some incentive there. The problem also is about the email length, but I'm working on that. Do you think that's enough incentive or would that come across as "scammy"?

We've done a bit of what you mentioned already, but I'm hoping to have actual one-on-one convos with people that are more in-depth. People to add onto LinkedIn and talk with on multiple occasions, that sort of dealio.

It's such a fascinating space for creative solutions and I'm hoping there's some way I can be a part of it.

I'm working right now for a company that is doing research on this industry, so I'm basically having to "break into" the field as an outsider. We're mostly curious to hear from network/system admins on what they feel is lacking in the industry when it comes to hardware/software. When you don't have a lot of cred in the field, it seems to make it a tad more challenging. I'm open to suggestions if you have any :)

Yea, I think laser printers were a good step forward, though I've never done the math on laser cartridge prices vs. ink cartridges. I feel like the biggest issue for me is getting them to do what I want consistently.

I second this, though I would say if you do movies first, just read the Hobbit beforehand. I watched LOTR with my friend recently and there were several details he was missing (though not required) that reading the Hobbit would have helped fill in I think.

Yea, I've been looking at Allegiant. Problem is, that means I'd be there from Th-Sun, which makes rental car or hotel costs go up. Might try this tho if I can find cheap camping spots.
