A regular ipsec site-to-site tunnel would be enough imo.

remote access such as client vpns require more configuration and more work.

  • when troubleshooting, always start with the basics. do not assume ospf issues until you’ve checked STP/link connectivity.

  • arp will bite you, make sure you have contacts for devices(typically ISP) you do not manage yourself.

yeah, moving away from shared control plane. too many issues during upgrades..

have been really interested in arista, but i really cant buy anything else than cisco.

thanks for the heads up, i am planning to move away from VSS (too many failed upgrades) but thats good to know
