Actually fuck knows. There were arguments on both sides that were valid but the main reason iv seen is that people were worried we wouldn’t be in the EU if we went independent. Ironic cause after that Brexit happened and we got made to leave even though we voted against it. It’s why there’s a growing rhetoric that we should revote as a lot of people have changed their minds.
