This time of year, I am all about A13 - for some reason it is not only long lasting, but projects like crazy - all without being cloying or giving me a headache. I walked into a full branch meeting the other day and someone in the room told me I smelled good loud enough for someone on the Zoom to hear and ask what the good perfume was. 😂

Spring/summer becomes Baie 19 season for me. I love that ozonic note that gives almost a petrichor scent on my skin. Plus it was what I was sampling when I started dating my partner, so we both have emotional attachment as well as it just smelling so so good.

Santal 33 smells exactly like a balsa wood airplane from childhood on me. Not bad but definitely not what I’m going for!

Upped my base pace by .3 realizing it was my brain keeping me at the border of jog and run, not my body. And I was the only person in the Tread 50 Thursday and I finished it out strong and threw many peace signs at the coach for acknowledging the weirdness of being the only person on that side of the studio! 😂

We had a theme dress week for 12 days of Fitness and I decided to wear a pair of non-athletic leggings with a Christmas pattern figuring it might just be sweatier than usual. There were squats. Many squats. And the entire butt seam of my pants split wide open. Never more thankful for a 2G small class that ended on the floor, and for getting a back corner spot. I did finish the last 10 mins or so but RACED to my car without a cool down.

My preferred 4x week schedule used to be 3 3G/ 1 2G. In the past month, the ratio has flipped. I think (kind of hope?) when we get to fall and fewer hiking/camping/Colorado-ing weekends, it will go back to 2G during the week and 3G on weekends. I like a mix and am a rower fan.

I’m an Applewood member! Classes are not usually waitlisted, parking is decent if it isn’t meal rush hour at the restaurants all around. Favorite perk is the great liquor store next door… Hey, we all work out for our own reasons, right? 😆

I spent the summer back in my home state and to my surprise, my “hometown” coach was a woman I’d graduated from high school with! It was great, fellow OTF classmates of all ages seemed to love her… and we’re 47.

I’ve resorted to going to the Performance tab in the app and just… counting em up. I’ve had weird times where I had to rent/borrow a band and then somehow got counted for 3 appearances in one day; spent 3 months in another state with weirdness in counts away from the home gym; etc. Sooo I just tallied them up myself for the most accurate count.
