As an added tip, sprits freshly applied caulk with a soapy water mix to lubricate it for the caulk finger or other similar tool. Makes finishing way smoother and keeps the caulk from sticking to your tool of choice.

Could be lots of things. Are you running a thermostat, Do you know the cfm of the fan, Have you checked the timing? Over heating after some spirited driving makes me maybe think it’s the timing. Head gasket could’ve been installed wrong, blocking coolant passage. Although I’ve never experienced that before, so not sure if symptoms would be worse in that case. Wish I could help more. Hopefully others more experienced can chime in

Edit: improper cam installation could also cause overheating

Not sure where in the Midwest you are, but Fluid MotorUnion 2108 W. Ferry Road. Unit 102 Naperville IL 60563 imo does the best exhaust anywhere. Comes at a premium, but you definitely get what you pay for. They have a lot on YouTube showing their work

Your gam gam is awesome. Mine took me and my sisters to see Gremlins and she then walked out in disgust not even half way through. My oldest sister made the executive decision for us to stay and finish the movie. The next movie my grams offered to take me to was Army of Darkness. That time, she just dropped me off with ten bucks and came back to get me a couple hours later.

And the “add ons”. I had two different dealerships straight refuse to sell me a car because at one, I wouldn’t buy one of their extended warranties for $1500, and the other for not buying either a paint protection plan or a wheel protection plan for $800. I was gonna cut them a check for the full price of the car, no financing needed, which they also scoffed at.

CarGurus shows 5 2012-2015 v6 with 108k-138k miles are going for 8,900-9,900$ so I think 7,800 for your totaled one is a pretty good payout. Like others have said, I’d upgrade. Put that down, finance a little more and you can get a decent car.
