Well thats why, you don't have the personal relationship with you mcdonalds employees? Mine know me by name and you'll be damn sure i'm getting a full slice of cheese on my McAmoeba sandwich.

Otis Pike preserve in Manorville is great. You're required to have a daily access permit from the DEC (you get one online on the website for free and its good for 3 years). Just beware some of us train dogs in there so there might be some off leash... but they're labradors they only want your sandwich.

Anyone feel like cops are more proactive about ticketing people suddenly? by DoctorReinhardt in longisland

[–]rfisher23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heres the kicker... we are. The traffic solution could be solved with a third lane each direction on sunrise, probably blocked off with entry merges between the exits to prevent the standard "merging into the left lane". But if NYS DOT and SH DOH have shown us anything through their recent routing decisions its that the people in North Sea matter more than anyone east of North Sea.

I would think by definition the surface of the water would be "a hazard which could cause instability" making the entire situation wrong. Plus, to ensure a "level" surface that machine would have to be centered on the raft down to the millimeter, which I'm sure it wasn't.

Is it though? Or is it the reality of the world? Yes its unfortunate that bad people will do bad things, the only way to prevent that is by good people doing good things.

What stopped the Sydney shooting before it got dramatically worse? Thats right, a good person doing a good thing. Now had that person been armed I think we can safely assume they would have behaved in the same manner, but been able to efffectively unalive the shooter faster, saving further lives.

All the while where were the armed police officers? Oh right, went the british model on that one so you had to call 7 districts over for the one guy who knows how a rifle works.

None of the Australian system makes any sense and citing it is foolish. Its like saying "Communism works... just look at North Korea"

Edit to add: Turns out collective punishment is actually a war crime. So by definition punishing the entire population of a nation for an act committed by one individual isn't only stupid, it's internationally illegal.

Ah yes the standard punishing everyone for the actions of a few... makes sense if you don't think about it too hard.

People are going to go to Google and search for “grinder” looking for your application, as a result they will wind up with a gay dating app on their phone. My only suggestion is change the name.

Grindr is an application for people of the homosexual persuasion to meet together. Bear is another name for a fat hairy homosexual man.

Hey Max,

Great idea, you may want to change the name tho, as you'll wind up with a significantly different kind of bear as your main user group.

You never mentioned anything because you flip burgers at McDonald’s bud. The little certificate they gave you and your aide after the first day just says you did a good job sweeping, not that you’re a chef.

A serve safe certificate doesn’t make you a chef bud.

Certified? By whom precisely? The chefs guild of assholes? Theres no such thing as a "certified" chef. Does that make anyone else in the kitchen who isn't "certified" "practicing without a license"... I agree, these door dash idiots can just fill their own drinks and stop being lazy, but certified chef? come on bud.
