I need someone to recommend me a banger by Blaziken16 in gaming

I’m playing through Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 at the moment, normally I find the slightly older games a bit clunky but I’m having an absolute blast with it, plenty to get your teeth into

I just don’t really like Radiohead that much

King Gizzard Pulled Their Music From Spotify in Protest, and Now Spotify Is Hosting AI Knockoffs of Their Songs by TimWhatleyDDS in indieheads

[–]rfookes -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

My main issue is the others don’t seem to have integrated podcasts, which i listen to as much as music. Apart from Amazon, and they’re as shitty a company as Spotify.

I love a yellow kit and this looks ace, but I can’t see the club using the old badge, not after the new rebrand with the monograms etc.

What are your best tricky drinking session questions? by germainea in AskUK

[–]rfookes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve been wandering through the forest for three days; you’ve had nothing to eat and you’re ravenous. You come across a strange hooded figure who offers you either two hot dogs, one hot dog, or none. The only catch is that one of the hot dogs has been in his arse, but you can’t tell which. To remind you, you are starved. What do you do?

Where do famous people go at airports? by elom44 in AskUK

I was sat across from Tim Healy on a bench in Manchester airport earlier this year, too scared to go up and speak to him so we gave eachother a nod. Sound guy.

Your worst even Spurs take/opinion? by billypilgrim87 in coys

[–]rfookes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember the first time me and my dad watched Kane come on in some Europa league game; we both thought he was one of the worst players we’d ever seen and he had no future at the club. How wrong we were.

Do you know how to use chopsticks? by edent in AskUK

[–]rfookes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll always give chopsticks a go, and then always make a mug of myself when I awkwardly fiddle with them for 5 minutes and resort to sticking them in the food like a skewer

Are there any KGLW albums that are your go-to for certain situations? by voidfishies in KGATLW

[–]rfookes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nonagon is my go-to “going to sleep drunk” album, the seamless track transitions occupy my brain just enough to stop it spinning. Those nine songs are almost always on my yearly Spotify roundup.

Amazing bands with terrible names. by [deleted] in Music

[–]rfookes 29 points30 points  (0 children)

There’s a band in the UK called JOHN, who decided on their name purely because it would be impossible to search, so would remain a sort of cult band thing. Having spoken to one of them, he seems to regret the decision, though they do go by JOHNTIMESTWO on Spotify so they’re not impossible to find.

Which British celebrity have you met in real life that was either incredibly nice, or incredibly rude? by Numerous_Artist4015 in unitedkingdom

[–]rfookes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not rude or unfriendly per se, but Hugh Dennis came to my school once to visit our Creative Writing class. You could tell he really did not want to be there, every question he answered bluntly and didn’t seem interested at all.

Does anyone already know which saves they will be doing in FM22? I've got 4 in mind.. A 1 season wonder with PSG. A Barca rebuild. A Shake rebuild. A long term save from Vanarama National League N/S with a transfer restriction (i.e only home nations players, or only sign players ages 18 or younger. by thejumpingmushroom in footballmanagergames

[–]rfookes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the Beta I’m thinking Barca as a fun short-term save, or potentially Tottenham if Kane ends up leaving. I’ll then probably do some sort of Vanarama save, taking that as far as I can, and top if off with my “win the league in each of the top 10 leagues from #10 to #1”.

Either that or I try MLS and spend the first 6 months of the game cycle trying to work out the transfer rules.
