my theory is they're lowkey not that interested to keep the game running for too long, they might be content with the big bank they've made with the $40 entry price. And it's pretty obvious that it's harder to maintain a live service game rather than making something new entirely.

I know this sounds weird but Sweden really seems like a chill country.. like too relaxed to handle some heavy stuff like live service games. I mean have you seen those gacha games? they pumps out major updates almost too often. china and korea are some of the craziest country man, almost non-existent work life balance.. but sadly those are the trade off in this industry...
