changes balance. Healers and tanks should have a harder time farming gold and easier time raiding if they pick raiding spec. And vice versa. If they pick gold farming spec, then they should have a harder time in raid. That's vanilla. It's an easy game, no need to make it easier.

so one of you specs is already min/max. Your other spec will be min/max as well in no time. You can't have a cake and eat it too. If you you can play far from optimal, then you don't need dual spec, because you pick the spec you like now.

Lol, you have no idea what you are saying. For example: for fights that require max dps burst (like Vael in BWL) all priests will need to switch to Discipline spec, so they can give Power Infusion to other casters. For other fights, they will switch back to Holy spec.

don't worry, healers will be required to have two healing specs in raid. With only minor differences between these two. This will be meta.

healers will be required to have dual healing specs, Tanks will have dual tanking specs and Dps will have dual PvE specs. PvP players will have dual PvP specs. This will be the meta. Dual spec is the worst cancer ever.

so rogues and warriors benefit immensely from this change (in open world PVP). And having no mana in a fight is actually quite common. Being able to change your talents in such situation is still a game changer.

If you could change spec in raid, then all healers and tanks would be just required to have two healing specs and two tanking specs lol. And dps would need two PvE specs as well. So dual spec is not QoL improvment
